'Jock Mcavoy portrait of a fighting legend' by Brian Hughes.... £11.00... I'm selling this book as I have two copies of it ....this is a great read, a detailed look into the life and fighting career of one of Britains greatest ever Middleweights and one of the biggest ever punchers p4p to come from our shores... Hughes provides very gripping accounts of Mcavoys fights and also lots of insights into Jocks personality outside the ring... the book also has a lot of rare bw photos....
This book is in very good condition, ...I don't think these are very easy to come by now, a good read for anyone interested in boxing in the 30s and Mcavoy in particular...
