Winky has nothing with which to stop Mosley coming at him. You're in for another sad night after Barrera v Paquiao, eh REAL DEAL? :)

Winky hits hard enough to get Mosley's respect, he's a natural light middle, has a cast iron chin, has a lot of defensive smarts, and is an excellent combination puncher.

I thought Mosley looked lousy against DLH, and by no means is he a cert to beat Winky, though he may well get the decision.

I disagree Kilbane, Sugar shane could get a shock. i dont think he is half the fighter he used to be he lost twice to vern had a no decision and that farce against Oscar which I find incredible that he won, so what form is he bringing with him, answer not much recent form thats for sure.
Depends if he can go back to the glory days one thing is for real he will get tested by Ronald whom I think is vastly underated.

Feel free to paste me if Mosely ko's him tho hahah

Trust me fellas, Winky might still be able to get the better of the likes of Candelo and Hernandez but Mosley is going to break him down. He was strong as a bloody bull against DLH in september, Wright is never going to win this fight behind that jab.

Wright may be able to cling on but it'll be a wide decision loss.

Yeah, he was strong as a bull who lands absolutely bugger all punches, Mosley might look strong but he is neither as fast nor as fluid as he was in his prime, I could of course be wrong, but I don't think he's going to look much better against Winky.

Have you seen Wright lately? The 50-fight veteran is not the fighter he was, and was never as good as De La Hoya anyway.

Straight forward fight this, Mosley will be the undisputed 154 champ and can look forward to more big fights with Tito/DLH/Hopkins.

I saw Wright's last two fights, but as we all know fighters can be undermotivated by opponents and look awful.

I am not convinced yet that Mosley really belongs at light middleweight, I thought he clearly lost to DLH, and I thought both fighters looked like they had lost a step or two, but DLH more so.

Mosley doesn't have his lightweight speed anymore for sure, but there's no doubt in my mind he's by far the strongest light-middle out there.

Wright has always been a decent enough champion but when he really steps up he loses, and taking on Mosley is his biggest step up yet. Is he about to produce his best ever performance at 32 and after such a long hard career? It's not impossible but highly improbable.

So your theory that Mosley is the strongest light middleweight out there is based on what exactly?

His non-conclusive win over Marquez, or his dodgy win over DLH?

Vargas I thought looked stronger than Mosley at LM, just because Mosley has the bodybuilders physique these days, doesn't mean he hits all that hard. Sure he sunk a few to the body against DLH, but he never had DLH in any real trouble.

Mosley is just a puffed up lightweight, and unlike Duran who sort of grew into it, Mosley has just bulked himself.

James it's got nothing to do with Mosley's appearance. Maybe you couldn't see it but it was clear to me right from round one that Oscar was feeling the extra strength. He was on his bike all night and looked pretty shaky over the final third, I don't recall a single instance where he risked an exchange of punches with Mosley.

Against Vargas it was different, Oscar was able to break his man down steadily as the fight went on. He was faced with nothing like the same physical pressure.

Puffed up lightweight give me a break mate. You stick your money on Winky if you're confident, and I'll see you on the... 14th is it? Whatever date it is.

I've heard this argument time and again, about how Mosley 'forced' DLH onto the back foot, when clearly that was Oscar's strategy. He was trying to box Mosley, because that plays to his strengths.

Mosley has the quicker hands on the inside and always has, and is a better and more natural puncher.

When Oscar fought Mosley first time around, he got drawn into a brawl in the 2nd half of the fight and got pegged back, so this time around he tried to box at range, and to my mind had more success.

Admittedly the fight was closer than it first appeared when viewed again, but I still thought Mosley simply didn't do enough to win.

Mosley is essentially a puffed up lightweight, I mean at Welterweight Vernon Forrest proved that he wasn't even the hardest puncher in that division, let alone light middleweight.

I thought De La Hoya beat Mosley last year and still do, going on individual rounds won.

But I don't expect Sugar Shane to have anything like the same trouble getting to Winky Wright, who just doesn't have the ability to contain Mosley in the same way IMO.

Hey if you lot prove me wrong I'll gladly come on here and admit it (not that I could deny it really, although I might give it a go).

8) 8)
