strange thing is, if danny can look good and put cole away, he could jump back into the big league as cole is still a durable name in tha states...

Williams should have enough left to take care of Al Cole.

Dont think this will be tough for Williams at all, Cole hasnt fought in about 3 years has he?

Cole has good height but he has been chinned in a few of his last fight so I expect Williams to win quite handily.

So he's about 23 stone then.

Since Danny was Robbed in his last fight, would be nice to See Danny come off with a Win

He wasn't robbed - he cut Platov with a deliberate headbutt.

McGees been outpointed by McCline and Michael Grant. Odlanier Solis chinned him early recently. Williams better walk over him.

Danny was down to 15stone 9lbs before Xmas! Christ knows what weight he'll turn up at - anything between that and 20. I've been friends with Danny for 8 years and I can't predict what he will do anymore than someone who's never met the guy.

Good luck Danny.
Do you know if Fearon is still trying to get him the Toney fight, Ant? I really wanna go to this.

I mean this in the nicest possible way - but the man is a freak. How can he lose around 4 stone in a matter of weeks.

He was 270 lbs on the 8th of December, and down to 211 lbs on the 24th.

Sorry I don't believe that.

Edit: sorry 225. - still don't believe.

Is Danny Williams fight even confirmed?

48 hours to go and still no mention on Boxrec, no mention elsewhere other than this thread...

I'm not a Williams fan but he knocked seven kinds of shite out of Platov who by the 4th had run out of gas and wanted a way out and he found one via his corner and the referee.

I would love Platov to have a rematch with Danny Williams so he could be KO'd onto his back but I don't think Platovs people will be looking for that match any time soon do you?

Danny Williams comes in at 258 lbs...

Not to bad, same weight as he was for Samil Sam.

Still think he could drop another 10 lbs.... but aside from the Gammer fight, its the lightest he has been for a while.

McGhee is 233 lbs.
