Any Tommy Morrison fans out there?

I have heard on several occasions that when Morrison fought Joe Hipp in Reno 92,that Morrison had to"get off the floor" to win.Ihave this fight on tape and there is no evidence that "the duke" went down in any round.I know he got wobbled on a couple of occasions but that was all.Can someone confirm this or is my recording missing a round.

If I remember correctly that morrison had a tough battle with Hipp who himself got up from a couple of knockdowns to give Morrison a hard battle But the Duke pulled it out with one big punnch a ltrademark left hook I think..

Of all those "white hope" types of the last 30 years I always thought Tommy Morrison was the best fighter of that bunch

I agree,the guy took a lot of unneccesary stick and was always gonna be up against it as far as gaining respect from the media and public i suppose,but boy could he whack with the best of em.Any Morrison fight was an exciting occasion and true boxing fans im sure will have appreciated his skills
