i'd rather see calzaghe take on pavlik or dawson.

but after those 2 i suppose woods has done more than anyone else.

Let's look at it this way. Jermain Taylor's out of the loop for the moment. Pavlik's done well, but he should really be fighting at 168 or 175 with his size. He's weight draining and either knocking out men more drained than himself or blasting out much smaller men. Could he really beat Woods? I don't think Kelly's power is going to move up with him & thus far he is still not the multi million $ superstar. Will take another year or two.

We're all getting excited about the light heavy card with Dawson-Johnson and Woods-Tarver. What a fvcking card. Whoever emerges as the star of the show could fight Calzaghe. If Dawson steals the show then this is tough, as Chad is a) difficult to fight and b) not so marketable.

Johnson, if he beats Dawson, would be perfect. Should have 2 wins over Woods against 1 loss. Respected in Britain and they were supposed to have fought already. Old and slow enough to beat. Tough and persistent enough for ppl to be interested. Massive feel good story even if some ppl think he's turned into a bit of an arrogant big 'ead since being successful.

Tarver, who lost to Hopkins, would be crap. This fight does nothing so pray that Clinton batters him.

Woods, if he beat Tarver, would be great. The British angle makes it perfect. If both Woods and Joe have beaten Yanks in the States, America may put extra money into a "unification" of the all-British variety. Woods has an excellent "come good" story, he has credibility from 3 fights with Johnson and title wins over Gonzalez and Hoye...He'll also be the physucally strongest bloke Calzaghe ever faced. This will be a bloody blockbuster.
