WBC Ratings
I have just looked at the WBC ratings, Were are all the FW fighters? :
, the only one high up is hatton, calzaghe isnt even in there.
Re: WBC Ratings
If you're a WBO champ, you disqualify yourself from the WBC ratings I believe. As for the rest, Frank had a much-publicised falling out with the WBC recently over Arturo Gatti being promoted over Hatton in their rankings. He vowed never to stage a WBC title fight again (though staged Dennis Bakhtov against keith Long for the WBC international heavyweight title in January).steve richards wrote:I have just looked at the WBC ratings, Were are all the FW fighters? :, the only one high up is hatton, calzaghe isnt even in there.

I watched barney box ( box is a strong word, run around the ring is a better word
), he has done nothing since( shame), how did he get to 15th on running merit, if the WBC don't recognise the WBO how come hatton is no 4, i wonder what will happen when when jc moves upto light heavy, will he go for IBF, WBO.

Hatton is WBU not WBO champ thats why he is rated. The WBC rate IBO,WBU and WBF champs along with your IBA,IBUs etc but IBF,WBA,WBO champs are not rated because they hold another version of a 'Real' world title.steve richards wrote:I watched barney box ( box is a strong word, run around the ring is a better word), he has done nothing since( shame), how did he get to 15th on running merit, if the WBC don't recognise the WBO how come hatton is no 4, i wonder what will happen when when jc moves upto light heavy, will he go for IBF, WBO.
