Post by Poncey »

Says on his Facebook that he won't get the Visa until next week, so his fight is off.

He was fighting Bravo (think his first name is Humberto, but not sure).

On the BBC site is said it would impact Joe because Pryce and also Cleverly were going over to give him sparring. I mean come on, you finally get over to America and you still take over the same sparring partners from the shed in Wales?

Isn't it time to branch out a little. America is full of quality fighters who they could bring in for some fresh sparring. Why is it all kept "in the family" so much?

If JC loses this very issue will come to the fore and be a major contributing factor IMO.

That said, if he wins, the show will keep rolling on and nothing more will be said on the matter :D

What a dreadful undercard for this fight. I was tempted to go over for the fight but other than Hopkins-V-Calzaghe the rest of the card is very poor. The same happened with Mayweather-V-De La Hoya.

I know the one superfight sells the card so they don't need the added expense of adding other good fights but it'still very annoying.

IMO the Mayweather undercard was worse, considering the main event. At least the Bautista fight was a suprisingly decent, though

my mate got deported straight back at the airport for forgetting about an assault charge from 20 years ago. They even told him, it wasnt the offence, it was the not telling them, that got him sent back...

One reason might be.....

There are some spiteful people in the world - who is to say someone might not open up a cut with a headbutt or the likes?

One more time - Amy style..

Deh wonder why he no bring top sparring in - but Joe he say NO NO NO!

It was going to be Norberto "Nito" Bravo from season 2 of The Contender.

Anyways, Bravo will now be fighting Freddy Hernandez (in place of Roberto Garcia) in next Friday's Telefutura main event.

I think there looking to step Pryce up he's settled in a 154 now he started out at 135 and moved up and down the weights at a young age. He's ready to make a move on something bigger than the Commanwealth title, whether he can win it is a different question.
