Dolan has a lovely range of shots...but he seemed to pose a bit...maybe its just his style..... he looked really small compared to the other but id love to see Dolan in with Hide....haye..macca and hobson
as for the final ....maybe the two might become big rivals in a few years....i can see both taking over from the old boys at the top...maybe even getting a crack at the euro
also i spotted Michael sprott last night...but he chipped b4 i cud shake his hand and remind him about the 'kenna q'

just struck me thats its a dam shame that this competition and other future prizefighter competitions are not on terrestrial tv...i think it would be a sensation, perhaps once a month or every 2 months, then the weight divisions could have a 'yearly cup'.
hope barry hearn pushes this for itv or bbc...imagine the interest that would be generated.
To be honest watching anything seems pretty interesting when you have to get up at 2.30am with your baby daughter for 3 hours - but overall it was enjoyable watching.
As ever with Heavyweights, whatever their respective abilities there is always that excitement the knowledge things could end with one punch (moreso than other weight categories) brings.
Clearly Dolan would beat Rogan comfortably over a longer distance and those 'flash' knockdowns cost him but there you go, thems the rules.
I agree Dolan with more rounds would win the fight. I used to turn over when my kids cried for feeding even if it was Saturday night and I hadnt got to be up in the morning.

It's definately the way forward, and it doesn't just have to be at heavyweight - other weights would work as well, although with the big boys you're guaranteed excitement because the big punches are flowing fast and furious due to the time constraints of the bouts.
In a way it's a better version of the amateurs - we all pretty much agree that headguards in amateur contests are pointless and we can see how much better those fights would be without them but of course that's unlikely to change anytime soon.
Still, a great night's boxing and the full house at YH shows how popular it's gonna be if it continues.
I think the lack of any real break between the semi and the final fucked Dolan, he almost got KO'd by his own ringwalk in that final! He'd easily make Cruiser, I think he needs to get down there. If the Dolan semi had been first I think he might have beaten Rogan in the final. That's the luck of the draw, or in his case unluck of the draw! Great scrap though.
