Competition Headgear

Do you guys think headgears with cheek protectors are better than the ones without them? I bought my competition headgear without cheek protectors but I've been regretting and it's too late to return my headgear. Is there much difference to them?

I don't believe you can compete with cheek protecting headguards.

In USA Boxing, you can wear cheek protectors as long as it dosen't impair eyesight. Canada may be allowing cheek protectors too. I would wear as much protection as I can.
