Right, after sifting through that lot I'm going to give you my thoughts on the subject. My mother was welsh and my father is english, I was born in Wales but have an english accent and have lived in England for many years. There is some fact in most of what everyone is saying but a lot of bollocks too.
When you start talking about rugby we spend the first week and a half insulting each other before we even get started on the english...and even when we do it's (almost) always in jest. You'll always find some twats who define themselves by their club and also the country and a negative stance against whoever the local derby-team is but isn't this just the same with England and football? Do you notice the balanced, sensible people or the ruder, usually drunker & louder elements in a crowd. I hate it when welshmen are defined by this element rather than the vast majority of good-humoured folk who like a bit of sporting banter.
As for english thoughts on the welsh having listened for years to people slating the welsh when they think there are none around (like I say I have an english accent) I find them to be as stupid and opinionated about the welsh as vice-versa...and, yes, I find that annoying too - being half-english I don't want to hear the english slagged off either.
So in conclusion if the idiots would just grow up then the rest of us adults can enjoy the sport in peace...except for a bit of healthy banter of course

Eerch. Uni rugby teams. I played for a club when I was of school age, but gave up at uni when the team seemed to want to spend all their free time pissing in each others beers and shaving the bollocks of whoever passed out first. At all my mates unis that I ever went to visit, the uni rugby team were pretty much the most hated people on campus. Well, they were with anyone who had any sense.
Truer words... I've always been of the opinion that there are only really two types people in the world: people who are twats, and people who aren't. A little simplistic maybe, but it works for us country bumpkin types.I suppose the tale is that there are arseholes everywhere of all nationalities - English too.

Well I am half Welsh and half English.
I think the reason why all the other home nations seem to unite in their hate of England is because they were the ones that are not as strong a force and the oppressed ones where they don't talk their own language etc. etc.
The British and not British thing works the other way aswell. Like when the Scottish footy team wins they are British and when they lose they are Scottish, that's the impression I gets sometimes anyway.

At welterweight, talented Scot Craig McEwan got stopped in a slight shock, Jamie Moore conqueror, Henry Coyle has also been eliminated.
This is a very strong competition.
Our big men, David Price and David Dolan have got a Norwegian and Frenchman respectively, I'd expect both to win but you never know...

Price got a good chance of qualifying for the olympics. Should he win vs the norwegian he will meet the winner of a turk vs an albanian. The winner of that fight will qualify for the olympics. after seeing Price in 2002 I think he should be very thankful for the draw that he got.
I dont know the frenchman that Dolan is fighting but the winner of that fight will most likely go to the olympics since the winner will meet a bosnian that is not very good.
