Please tell me this is a joke:

"Mayorga penalized 1 point in Round 5 for hitting after the bell and also 1 point in Round 11 for holding. Cory Spinks down 5 Times, none of them were counted as knockdowns by the referee, and atleast 2 were knockdowns. Also the referee was too fast on taking the first point from Mayorga and the 2nd point deduction was uncall for Mayorga never hold on to spinks, Spinks was holding on to Mayorga."

I would agree that those are completely inappropriate. They are gone now. Comments should just report the facts, and those are OPINIONS!

Yeah really. I'm a Mayorga fan, but there is nothing anyone could do, or write to make it look like Mayorga was even competive in the bout...I cannot stand his style, but Spinks absolutely dominated the fight.

I have no idea who added the rest and agree that they should have been deleted. But the original comment is a fact and I believe noteworthy as without the deductions, the result would have been a draw (a ludicrous one, but a draw none the less). IMO it should be reinstated. Other opinions?

I don't see anything wrong with noting the point deductions, those are relevant. Of course someone can always point out that we didn't put similar comments on a different fight, so were biased. Oh well, we do the best that we can.

Same with scoring and knockdowns. There are fights where it's noted and fights where it's not. I always enter them when I find the info. If people complain of a lack of consistency, well... let 'em fing the missing ones.
