MATCHMAKERS...THE HIDDEN POWERBROKERS...imagine how the history books would read if the major promoters were`nt in control.... 8)

Don't UFC have just one man deciding who fights who? I did make the suggestion a little while ago that promoters could put together a shortlist and then open that list to public vote, but Captain Tuber thought it a bad idea.

there would be less debate as to how good someone is ,as they`re progress would be legitimate...good thought tho ....1 independant promoter with everybody`s registration.....

Joe Silva is the UFC's match maker and he does a fantastic job. ( Lesnar v Mir was a bad one but you cant get em all right)

Boxing match makers like Dean Powell could learn a great deal from him.

Nope - but have had the privelege of going 3 rounds with 2 promoters!!!

One of those was in Vegas - the other at the Lennox Lewis College.

And before anyone says it got battered in one and to this day I will swear I deserved at least a draw in the other.
