I dont know if many or any of you will know or remember Ryan Cummings who boxed with my husband.
We have heard this morning that he passed away on the 17th of March this year and we are devasted, he leaves behind 4 children a wife and his close family.
Ryan was a character and much loved by our camp and those around him, he was loud and proud and always the one you wanted if you were down or at a party. HIs boxing career might not ahve been sparkling but he was devoted to the sport he loved so much.
I only found out this morning, The family got in touch Im shocked. I will say and the lads that knew him agree, He was the most talented Kid I ever trained He had it all. But drifted away from the sport, everything was in excess with Ryan but a great Kid RIP
Yes it is, Talking about excess. He had to go back to Wigan to sort something out while Training in London. I got a phone call from the Promoter wanting Him for an undercard fight on a big Promotion. I checked with Him how his weight was he said Fine. When I met him in Machester the night before, I said how are things Ryan, okay was his reply but struggled with the weight. Hows that son I asked. Well I was 8lb over last night, so went for a 16 mile run to shift it
Thanks Guys, and KO thats lovely of you to say hon xx
