Yeah i agree it's a goodlist. But as mentioned above how does Camacho make the cut. I wouldn't of had him anywher near that list. Not even in the top 100 of all time.

I'd also not have Camacho and Hopkins in there, rather Archie Moore and Marvin Hagler. Otherwise the usual suspects are here, and while one can admittedly order them 100 times and still feel one has not done justice to all of them, I'd have Harry Greb and Roberto Duran higher than in the original list.

Camacho and Hopkins don't belong. Moore does, possibly Hagler. Two other possibles are Sandy Saddler and Pascual Perez, both of whom I think were underrated. While I would certainly rate Langford in the top 25, I am not sure I'd have him that high

Lest anyone accuse me of bias; Ali is too high. Harry Greb, Ezzard Charles and Willie Pep should be above both him and Louis.

Mayweather and Hopkins are my two most favorite active fighters, and neither of them are top 50. Neither is Jones.

Someone mentioned that Archie Moore should be in there, among others.

I admit that I'm better at criticizing these lists than I am at making them. And you get a thumbs up for putting Whitaker ahead of Chavez.

Seems the original list looks far more comptent to me than any you would assemble.

Actually the more I look at the list, the less I disline it..... With the exception of some of today's fighters making it and Camacho its not horrible..... When you are talking about the top 25 boxers alltime p4p you really are drawing very small distinctions when talking about who is better.

Judging on pure talent at their peak, then yes Camacho belongs on such a list. He was breathtaking at his very best.
Judging by accomplishments, then no, he shouldn't be on the list.

JC Chavez is better than about 8 fighters over him on this particular list.

Oh I know I will get flack ...Robinson is a media/ web wide sacred cow.
If anyone would bnother to take a look at history as opposed to hype, he would be at best, in the low double digits to mid teens on an accurate all time pfp list.

Had there been a rubber match with Basilio, that would be clear as glass, and there are at least 5 current fighters i would place above him

Robinson is the greatest fighter of all time. Is he miles ahead of Armstrong and Greb? No. Could you make the case for them being ahead of Robinson? Sure.
