I make a very valid point about watson not being a hero, but we mustn't talk about Waston in that way!

Look people take the p*ss out of Benn all the time & thats OK!

Waston milks his condition for everything its worth.

Did anyone see that BBC docomentary about him a few years a go - sickening!

Michael Watson is above any sort of criticism. Its a miracle how he has come back. Completeing a marathon like that is almost unbelievable.

I’m glad we agree it was bloody unbelievable, I think it took him nearly two weeks, even the guy in the antique deep sea divers suit lapped him.

Does anyone remember that BBC documentary, where Eubank meets him. Watson says ‘I forgive you, I forgive you’ – FOR WHAT! If I was Eubank I would of knocked Watson right back in his wheel chair.

What exactly did you expect him to say? I agree that Eubank was merely doing his job - but I'm sure he's had many a sleepless night thinking about that fight, and it certainly effect his subsequent performances.

What can you say in such a situation? I'm sure Eubank was relieved with such a response, compare that to the attitude of the McClennon family concerning Nigel Benn, and you can see why Watson is respected.

If you argued the point of him gaining compensation from a sport where he knew the risks, then there is the debate - but saying he's not nice because he cannot maintain his personal hygine himself, or didn't run the marothon fast enough, or said he "forgive" Eubank - we'll I can see how the thread was removed.

Now there is the only valid point you made- I thought that. Forgiveness, it wasn't Eubank's fault for crying out loud he was just doing his job what any other fighter would have done.

I can absolutley assure you that the Chambers posting on the Boxrec.com from 21/2/2004 is not the real person who logs in as Chambers.

An "infiltrater" has obtained his password by hacking into another Forum that the real Chambers uses. The "infiltrater" is now trying to get the real Chambers banned from Boxrec.com. He has suceeded in getting him banned from another Forum yesterday.

The real Chambers would never,EVER, EVER post anything derogatory about Michael Watson.

Please suspend his Forum account with Boxre.com until Monday when you should be able to sort this matter out.

I'd agree with THEBUTCH on this one. Chambers is normally a decent poster.

"He" started a thread on boxingaddicts.com: "breaking news" about Audley being gay. I smelled a rat then because it was an obvious hoax about "His" favourite fighter, that the real Chambers wouldn't make up.

Me and Chambers have our regular banter with Wolves-Albion but right back to the Current Scene when he was called "Big Dave" he has never been a poster with these characteristics, i am 99% sure it is an imposter. I hope no one will object if i lock this thread?
