Mine is Evans Quinn. Ok he's not British , in fact he's a heavyweight from Nicaragua , so has probably got no chance. But i like the look of him. nice moves. He has a couple of early career losses 1 by KO, so his chin might not be all that, but he has taken on decent competition in his last 2 fights, and done the business, he could make cruiser i think.

Andy Murray, Irish lightweight/light welter

Has every shot in the book, chin hasn't been tested but he's grwing in power all the time. Former top class amateur.

Also, here's a lot of talk about a Cuban based in Cork called Mike Perez, I wasn't that mpressed first time I saw him but he's supposed to be excellent

yep, i didn't say he was the best prospect, just one of my favourites, looks as if he could be entertaining.

Not been in the ring since November though, hope he's not got into trouble

I would agree that Murray is a good pick but again only if the team take it slowly, and build him up right, though I'm sure the guys will.

One of our own fighters Luke wilton impressed me in his Pro debut. (to be honest Luke impressed more than I thought possible, I was really shocked by his performance and I have watch him fight regularly in the AMA's for the last few years) Luke is definatley one to watch and is out again on Saturday in Dublin against Delroy Spencer.

I picked him last year and stand by the choice this year as well - Scott Belshaw. I know he has lost his last fight and not shown any great class yet but i think things could be changing in camp Belshaw and a new improved boxer should come out the other side.

Havent seen much of him in recent months, but I really liked the look of Martin Lindsay.

There is a prospect on Sky Sports, approx 5 fights unbeaten, lighter weight division, quite tall, good balance and punch, good amateur, can't think what his name is? I'm looking out for him.

Just noticed John O'D is on for the great Froch/Witter bill. Good to see him back.

Yeah I like watching Cordington, vunerable big hitters always good to watch, he might get a few big wins now and again. I like to see the boxers who come back from bad KO's and turn things around

Learning a little bit in this thread - as much as I love boxing really taken my finger off the pulse with regards to prospects coming through.

Really going to watch the olympics closely - I do not give a toss what the promoters say about not touching the boxers because of 2012 - money talks and if someone does well in this years games then that lure of the pound may not tempt the promoter but it will certainly tempt the boxer!!!

I honestly believe this games will throw up another name or 2 - maybe not on the Amir Khan or Audley Harrison hype but nonetheless a name which will have the promoters stabbing each other in the back in the race for the signature.

Keeping an eye on the irish lads as well.
