Heavy knock down that, seemed abit strange that it was delayed i thought he just slipped at first but woolcombe was down for sometime. I was impressed by rhodes 2nite he classy and throw some good shots, that uppercut nearly took woolcombes head off he did well to take it. Just seen the interview with Naz, talking of a comeback maybe, he better get training now cus he got some weight to shed. He could proberbly make heavyweight now.

I was a bit worried about Ryan prior to the fight. He looked like he had Aids or something - he looked really ill. Aged alot in his face since the Lockett fight and just looked so gaunt.

However, he performed very well. Would like to see him lift his hands up when going for the kill - I was having visions of Woolcombe tagging him coming in, as he is so open

Pele Reid should have his licenced removed, I'm afraid. The guy doesn't know the basics, and now has lost his handspeed.

Thought it was a fantastic performance by Rhodes tonight - really rolled back the years. He paced himself perfectly, showed some beautiful shot selections (that uppercut in the 6th was an absolute beauty), great angles and a cute defence. He still holds his chin out to dry though, which means you're inevitably going to worry about him getting tagged.
Realise Jamie's got bigger fish to fry, but a Rhodes vs Moore showdown would be a fantastic fight for purists - two of our classiest operators with a real contrast in styles.
Credit to Woolcombe as well for such a gutsy showing.

ryan was too cute and new too much for hot stuff, all in all a great performance from the spice boy, perhaps he could have one last tilt at bigger things...

Impressed - with both fighters.

Great to see Ryan roll back the years - and Woolcombe showed a lot of b*llocks!!!

Lost my broadband connection during the first round!! Hehe.

Good fight, Rhodes looked good but in reality Woolcombe was lucky to get a vacant title fight. He's a level below this clearly.

He did the business but tell you what Woolcombe has gone up in my estimation.
There aren't many domestic LM'S who would have taken some of those shots, trust me.
Can't wait for the next one !
We've stuck him on the plane to Vegas - Ryan's off to see Calzaghe now.
No sleep - too much adrenalin flowing.

What really p*ssed me off about the fight - is some daft tw*t in a white t shirt, old, fat and grinning like a silly tw*t - what a bloody hard paper round he has had!! - this bloke was sat in about the 3rd or 4th row - in the middle of my screen.

Ugly sod almost spoilt the fight for me!!! :TU:

Hey hey Spuddy - as you know, you can't buy moments like that !
It's been a long road with highs and lows but I'm so proud of Ryan today.
Hopefully the wankers like Hook etc can come on now and retract the "shot" comments.
I might be an ugly fornicator Spuddy but my lad next to me is the business !
He'll be back in the next few days, and we're straight back to work.
I hope the Pryce fight is made - no excuses same Promotor etc.
I'll send him your regards.

What's with Rhodes and the number 26?
