Congraulations to Rhodes and his team. By my reckoning (well, boxrec's), it was the first time Ryan had made light-middleweight for 11 years. He proved he can do the weight and fight like that.

Good performance from Rhodes last night.

Does anyone know how come he split from Ingle?

And what did you make of Naz last night?

Enjoyed watching Rhodes in action - still remains to be seen if he can pull out a performance like that against a higher class opponent, this could have been more a case of Woolcombe getting exposed than Rhodes putting in a European/World class performance.

Don't know much about Woolcombe but Rhodes chin still has question marks so you couldn't really fancy him strongly at this level against anyone.

Hope I am wrong - Rhodes is one the nice guys in boxing.

Ian Mc - is he still mates with Naz??

Regards

I am over the moon for Ryan.I watched it in a pub in Copenhagen +am here for a fmaily party, otherwise I would gone to the show.I thought Ryan boxed brilliant.A really polished performance.Hands high, miced his shots up nicely, good tempo.Am absolutely thrilled for him -he deserves this. I hope GW is ok as well +that was a heavy knockout -not good to see.

Lennox - ok mate - This is beagleboys in disguise !
Gary was ok after the hullaballoo had calmed down mate.
He's gone way up in my estimation. Ryan hit him with some real bombs there, and he just kept coming back for more.
Ryan went straight to Vegas for the Calzaghe fight. Back soon. I'll send him yor regards.

Hi Beagleboys. Please do pass on my regards and best wishes to you also.I thought about you guys a lot in Denmark. I watched the fight in The English Pub, which is opposite Tivoli Gardens in the centre of Copenhagen. The fight was on three screens and quite a few people stopped their drinking/talking to watch it + there was a guy from Sheffield working behind the bar, who was a big fan of the 'spice boy' as he called him.

I am so, so happy for Ryan.He looked so storng and sharp at the weiught -really alert.GW also went up in my estimation -took a lot and kept on coming.Takes guts that.

I hope this finds you in fine form.

I've sat back a few days and waited to see how long it would be before the wankers who profess to know so much about boxing, but know fornicate all started to spout.
I have been pleasantly surprised by the reactions of many - but I have to expose the wanker that is Hitman Hatton yet again.
This is the knob who admits he's never been to a live event in his life, but yet time after time he comes on the boards giving it big licks about his undoubted deep knowledge of all thing pugilistic.
This is the icing on the cake.
After seeing this fight, he says that Rhodes is nothing more than an area title fighter.
OK let me remove my obvious bias here but that comment sums up your knowledge - fornicate ALL.
Get back to bed, wank over your Hatton pictures and when you've got a sweat on go wash your hair so you can stay in and watch Britain's got talent.
The comment wasn't made on this board by the way, but the info's filtered down.

Just browsing, but surely STP's comments about bottling someone on pg 1 were irony, completely missed by all?? The 'especially from behind' part kinda indicates that he was being facetious. No?
