yep, i didn't say he was the best prospect, just one of my favourites, looks as if he could be entertaining.

Not been in the ring since November though, hope he's not got into trouble

Im also a fan of Quinn. One of my favorites among the heavyweight prospects out there.

But Im afraid that he actually has got into some kind of trouble.

About a month ago I found this article, which says that he might have been involved in some "no-good" activity home in Nicaragua.

I honestly believe this games will throw up another name or 2 - maybe not on the Amir Khan or Audley Harrison hype but nonetheless a name which will have the promoters stabbing each other in the back in the race for the signature.

Keeping an eye on the irish lads as well.

Of the Irish Olympians, Sutherland is the one to watch for the pro's, a big hitter who beat the vaunted DeGale three times (before losing to him in Pescara)....

I think Egan is too old, Nevin too young. Joyce is unlikely to go pro.

Don't know much about Barnes. Anyone?

Well I don't suppose he's a prospect anymore, but watch Kell Brook go over the next 18 months.
Fights for british title on 03-05-08 - which happens to be his 21st.

Surprised more haven't plumped for McCloskey. For me he's the most underrated prospect in the UK right now. Shutout his last 2 opponents and both were qulity guys. Garnica was robbed blind against Lazcano and he's good enough for Hatton......or is he (but that's another debate).

Worldwide it has to be Gamboa he's the obvious one. There's also Gennady Golovkin, hasn't ripped up any trees in the pros yet but was a great amateur and the way the Germann's mind their fighters he should be capable of picking up a alphabet belt and maybe go on to greater things.

I liked the look of Lee Purdy based on his fight on Sky the other week. Truscott and Appleby look ok too but I don't see any future Calzaghe's, Haye's or Hatton's coming through at the minute. There's no one out there who looks really special.

Why? I have two brothers living in Oz at the moment and they both think the guy is a bit useful - the Langham fight was quite a wild one by accounts - obviously the caveat here is that you never really know what Australian records mean in the real world.

Probably not.

Another fighter I enjoy watching is Mark Moran.

Brett Flournay is no-nonsense and now 8-0. I like watching him.

Sykes is a stylist, he's good but not much of a dig.

And up until recently I'd have said Crolla. To be honest he is a good lad and a neat boxer, I hope he comes back stronger and fulfils his potential. He deserves it.

You've got it wrong about Brook mate.
Same as how some got it wrong about Rhodes.
I've been watching him train intensely and he's ready.
He's been sparring in Europe and the reports flowing back have bEen highly complementary.
Let's see what 3/5 brings.
