I read that article yesterday. Surely it is a miss print and infact the dateline is 10 years later, Dec 2003? That would make more sense.

I have no sympathy for Teddy Reid, he is a nasty piece of work (and no, its not just because he handed Eammon Magee his first defeat!!) I only hope that Joppy clocked him good and hard with the spit bucket.
