Stinky Gloves

Post by Poncey »

Mine smell like a nun's badger. Ian Oliver mentions a spray in his book to use, any ideas what it is called?

Also, any other tips for cleaning them would be appreciated.

Think he mentions Dettol Spray or something like that.

Alternatively you could also try and stop using it as a w@nking glove :D

Are you using hand wraps? They'd absorb the sweat a bit.

Yeah, but I wonder whether I need to buy better ones as I did get them from JJB.

Here's a hint
Take them outta your bag and air those suckers out

or put a box of arm and Hammer baking soda in you bag , it helps

Also make sure to wash your wraps , thats the real killer

Good luck mate

I've used the stuff for shoes and it works a treat. like what they use at the bowling alley. Scholl do one its got anti bacterial and deodorant in it. make sure you air them out and don't leave em in your kit bag all the time.

Big burly boxer, doesn't like smelly gloves lol.

Try airing them more, hang them outside your bag and try changing your wraps. I leave my gloves (3pr) outside my bag and have used the same wraps for overa yr and never washed them lol but leave them hangin in the gym to air out. Wraps smell , gloves aint too abd but the gym stinks lmao.
