Been reading up and it seems the Casamayor v Juan Diaz fight has been scuppered with neither side agreeing on who gets the biggest cut of the purse.
This obviously is relevent to the UK scene because we have Khan zeroing in on a WBO title shot. WBO belt held by Campbell.
Anyway, it seems that GBP are trying to make Casamayor v Juan Manuel Marquez for the Ring mag title. Great fight.
It looks like this still leaves WBO, WBA & IBF king Nate Campbell isolated. Khan is #2 and did win an elim over Kristjansen, so it seems the opening is still there for Khan if he wants it.
If Khan has a US debut - maybe on the Pavlik-Lockett undercard - he can stir more interest in this fight and if matchmaking is good, hopefully learn some of the nuances he'll need to move to the next level.
But it still begs the question, if Khan wins world titles, how the heck will he defend them with great fighters lie Pac and Marquez moving up? Most recently Warren said he wants Khan to win a belt, only one that he can defend.

But Can he get away with being in the spot to challenge ,telling all and sundry he's too good for boxer x y and z and there not in his plans but then not challenging for the title cos he don't want to defend it if he wins,. suppose so it is fwank were talking about here . Unless of course they go there own way shortly
