thad spencer's son todd was a former nfl player who has had several fights...john williams, who is fighting on the show in idaho that is tonight or tommorow, is a former nfl'er....orson mobley had a fight or two (the former bronco)...

incorrect- john clark is not a former 49'er...john williams, who fought welliver, however, is a former nfl'er

TO GMONEY: ED "TOO TALL " JONES did become a fighter and damn near got starched in his first fight against some little Mexican heavyweight who was at least 7 inches shorter. I think he was 6 or 7 - 0 when he wisely went back to football.

TO KALOOCBOY: Funny you would mention LYLE ALZADO fighting an exhibition without mentioning that it was an 8 rounder against MUHAMMED ALI in Denver. It went the "distance" and ALI had to do enough to keep ALZADO off of him to have the sportswriters comment that ALZADO was in a tremendous amount of pain when it was over. ALZADO lost one fight as an amateur to RON STANDER by controversial decision. The "bout" with ALI is not listed in ALI's record. Dan Coli

Jack O'Halloran played second string pro I don't remember the team...Ken Norton and Randy Cobb played in college.
