Re: Hamed is back!
He said that in 2005, but no signs of him yet!!!!STP wrote:Just announced his comeback on Sky Sports News.
He's just trying to keep his name in lights: I don't believe that he has the stomach for a fight these days.
Re: Hamed is back!
Mate he is not trying anything. He was more interested in Ryan, but was asked the question and played along. Just as funny as ever.Syntax Error wrote:He said that in 2005, but no signs of him yet!!!!STP wrote:Just announced his comeback on Sky Sports News.

I never heard him speak; I thought it was a serious statement.

Christ there are some naive people around.
Naz's tongue was firmly in his cheek, full of irony and sarcasm, the very type of humour only we Brits get - or at least I thought.
Yeah Naz wants to be back - as a Commentator !
And with all due respect to the others, excluding the brill Johnny Nelson, he'd do a great job.
We're losing all of the charismatic people - and tell you what I'm so pleaed Naz is in Ryan's corner.
You would not believe the response we've had from Europe and even over the pond to his performance.
I had to ask why ?
It was only a domestic match up for a domestic title and ok, a great performance. The Naz factor, that's why.

Well hes retired, wont have fought for years, eating what he wants and probably would have gained fat coming off the stimulants and muscle builders they would have had him on in training camps. Doesnt look quite right though does it?TerribleTerry wrote:Looks like Tyson has been dining at the same 'all you can eat' restaurants as Naz:

Bet Mike regrets that daft tatoo on his face now.
Nas was funny as hell, he seems to have mellowed a lot as well. I really think he's got half a mind that he might come back as well...he must really miss the limelight - not that I think he will, at least I hope not. Just in the back of his mind, he probably wonders if he can roll back the years - like some of the snooker players he's no doubt watching at the moment.
Then he no doubt remembers that hitting a snooker ball is a lot different than getting hit in the head.

Shows how much he's melowed when he even admitted, in a roundabout way, that Floyd was a better fighter than him.
That was THE dream fight for me in the mid 90's - Naz moving to jr light to take on PBF. Imagine the press conferences!
Looking back though, he probably wouldn't have been able to even hit Floyd.
But.....if he landed one of those howitzers, from an angle Floyd would not have been expecting...well you just never know. I doubt there's a man under 140 who could have taken one of those bombs, and stayed up, even Floyd.

Indeed, he did Stock a Huge Power Punch considering the weight he fought at..But.....if he landed one of those howitzers, from an angle Floyd would not have been expecting...well you just never know. I doubt there's a man under 140 who could have taken one of those bombs, and stayed up, even Floyd.

As For Tyson, well, Like most HW's after they retire, he has gained a bit of weight.
Would be nice though he does not get TOO Over Weight, like a lot of other boxers who go way way too overweight. Such as Buster Douglas or Bowe
