just got back from the ABA semis in Sheffield and seems that he has been mentioned a few times on this forum I thought I'd let you know that Tyson got through to the ABAE final by beating Mark Smith on Friday with a WRSF1 blowaway job.

Then today he fought very sensibly to a WRSF4 domination against Shane McPhilbin.

How did Aston’s Jerikyah Ingram get on, Jim? I’ve seen him box before and he is good. He won the NACYP national amateur title a few years ago before taking some time off due to work-related matters. He’ll make a good pro if and when he decides to turn over.

Hi Tom,

He beat Alistair Warren on points on Friday but then lost in the semi to Rotunda's Michael 'Rocky' Fielding on points.

the score of 18-4 sums up fieldings dominance who in my opinion was the classiest boxer on show throughout the semi's.

He's the biggest buzz in the amateur scene at the moment isnt he. He cant, apparently, get many fights so wouldnt you think the logical thing to do would be to pop to the US for 6 months? Surely someone would sponsor or back him and there'd be plenty of opposition over there.

Im genuinley interested in how this kid will progress when he fights the top guys, he gave Price (was it) a damned good test at, what? 18/19 ? and ten or so fights.

Fighting is in his family blood too.

Tom Dallas has tried to line up a fight with Fury for months.

They were scheduled to meet, and Fury pulled out with barely 2 or 3 days notice.

Would be a very tough fight for Fury, as both could be considered to be England number 2 Super Heavyweight.

Price, number one, is way out on his own right now though.

Fury sure looks a safe bet for the 2012 squad, providing he doesn't get impatient and turn over.
He has plenty of time on his hands.
