Wlad's probably a little better than you give him credit for, but I agree for the most part. Someone like George Foreman would've never been stopped by Ross Purrity, Corrie Sanders and Lamon Brewster. Nor would Larry Holmes. Shit, which truly GREAT heavyweights have suffered defeats like that in their primes? Lennox got smoked by McCall and Rahman, but I'd argue they're both better than the guys Klitschko lost to. And, of course, Lennox avenged both his losses.

interesting to see Haye saying you fight your two manditories I'll fight two top 10 fighters, good move and doing it the right way no matter how cocky he comes accross no one would be able to argue with that record.

I hope the Rahman fight comes off, and then perhaps a fight against the Skelton Sam winner, then he'll have the EBU and established himself as a credible HW and Klitschko will have a job ignoring him (though I think after the two manditories he may go for a Unification whith Peter or Chageuv or whoever holds those titles at the time.

He backs up his talk with action, its not like those bums who talk about being the best in the world and defend the WBO title etc. He has unified the Cruzerweight devision and seems intent to get their at HW. If he comes accross as cocky fair enough he's urned it, that is what a classy person does fights the fight.

You have to hand it to Vlad. Out of the ring, he is a class act. Rarely seen a fighter who is such a credit to his sport. That being said, I don't rate him at all in the ring, which is where it counts. He's fighting in an era that represents the nadir of heavyweight boxing and is living proof that in the land of the blind the one eyed man is king.

He's right, though. Undisputed cruiserweight champion Haye may be, but he's nothing in the heavyweight division. Haye may well ask who these 'bums' Klitschko is fighting are, but, at the end of the day, they're mandatories.

Haye's not getting anywhere near the big man this year, and he'll do well to get down to some serious training and try to squeeze in three fights at heavy before the year's out. Then, if he's impressive, he can justifiably go after the top dogs.

Tell you what, though, I'd stick my hand in my pocket and take a swing at whichever bookmaker gave me odds against on Haye. If you had Haye and Klitchko each fight the other ten top heavys, Klitschko may win more, but styles make fights, and I see Haye knocking the big Ukrainian out.

Bonin lost to Audley and would probably lose to Skelton, Sprott and Williams.

A guy on his pro debut knocked him down too.

Lets be clear who at HW has done more. Haye has beaten Mormeck, has heald and defended the Cruzerweight title against some quality fighters then beat Mormeck who had dominated the cruzer division previously then beat the danverouse Enzo...

Doesn't neccessarily make him hair apparent but who at HW has realy done more?

Different weight classes, his wins at a lower weight don't mean nothing to the champs.

Exellent cruiser he was though.

Toney and Holy at cruiser would of whooped him.

It meant somat to Bernard when Joe moved up in weight.

It looks like Haye's going to have to wait to spark the robot, but if he can get 2 good wins under his belt in the mean time whilst shouting Wlads names from the rooftops then he should be able to get third in line after Thompson and Povetkin (who may well beat Wlad)

Povetkin wont be accomodated til December.

If Hayes such a big shot, why doesnt he tackle Povetkin? That bumps off Povetkin and puts Haye at the front of the pack by a long way.

I can't see Povetkin risking his mandatory position to fight Haye

Maybe It did meant something to Hop, but I saw It as just a big payday for Joe really which fighters do before they retire.

Haye shouldn't be waiting to fight till November either If he's looking to retire In 2 and a half years, It's not easy to unify and promoters like King are still around.
