How the f**k am I being politically correct by saying I think someone is scum for acting the hard man and putting up vids on his MySpace page of him and his mates stamping on a kid's head?
I've f**king heard it all now...
Cleverly twisted!!!
Eubank and this geezer had a scrap - it was an organised scrap - Eubank adhered to the old saying once you get the opponent on the floor do not let him get back up - the fight was no more brutal than UFC/MMA or something like that.
The only thing the TEENAGER did was naive to say the least was put it up on youtube - which incidentally there are hundreds of films far far worse - but because Eubank is the son of someone famous he is chastised for it.
You and the "Cucumber Sandwich" Brigade need to campaign on more pressing issues when you get your nickers in a tw*st!!!

Bollocks. The lad was done.... no chance he was getting up, and even if he did, no chance Eubank Jnrs mates were gonna let their pal take a kicking. What followed was god knows how many of them jumping and stamping on him. It's one thing having a set-to and making sure the other guy isn't getting up - if you're on your own and in real personal danger. Jumping on a guys head, and letting all twenty of your mates do it as well when the guy is already done.... well that's well 'ard... eh?!Spud wrote:

The Kid had endured weeks of taunts from this gang regarding his father and the time had come to shut them up or endure more personal remarks. he agreed that he would fight them one-on-one with no weapons and they lost. The kid is no thug but done what most would like to have done but not many would have the balls to do.
He's a nice polite kid and very respectful to others. So he stood up to some bullies, slapped them and highlighted it on the internet, so what?
Bottom lin eis the kid is learning to fight, propoerly and is an outstading talent with very little experience.
Ask Tony Oakey what he's like!

For me Terry, I'm not that bothered by what happened in the video.... whilst I think its shite that the lad got the boot put in when he was down, but god knows how many of the lads..... its the fact that Eubank Jr has put it up on his website, and all the shit he's written above it... all the wannabe gangster bollocks. Most lads get in that sort of trouble when growing up.... most go OTT in fights every now and then... but then they just leave it at that - not put it on the net playing at being hard.Terry D wrote:Take away the backstroy and it looks like a bunch of guys giving out a kicking when the other guy has had enough. What if he signs for a fight and there is a lot of pre-fight name calling? Is it Ok for him to KO the guy then give him an in-ring kicking after the final bell. I guess you would condone that?

Deserter,
How dare you take the moral high ground by stating "no wonder this country is f*cked" - what a complete load of b*llocks!!!
It is you and the rest of your "do gooders" who cry at a bit of banter and then go into hypocritical mode by ridiculing those that are not as clever as you with words - and then you get on your soap box about a teenage lad who has clearly made a mistake by putting his video on youtube - Surely there are far more serious issues to get your nickers in a twist about
I don't know what age you f*cking lived in but even when I took a couple of beatings all those years ago I went into it knowing I was going to get hurt a whole lot less if I didn't adhere to the queensbury rules - I knew if I used my bulbous head, my feet and my fists and if I had the chance bite the c*nts - it would give them something to think about!!!
Tell me Deserter - when you had a fight did you take it in turns to punch each other - and ask the bloke how he was when he hit the deck - or did you muller him until he said he didn't want anymore - I bet I know what 90% of people did on here when they had a scrap!!!
Instead of making a fuss about a lad kicking a bloke in the head a few times -why not make a fuss about some poor sod getting shot or knived - why not complain about pensioners get mugged - or crimes far worse than that.
But no - you choose to bleat and cry about 2 lads going into a fight - with both of them knowing the consequences if they hit the deck - both of them wanting the fight - and whats more both of them wanted the bragging rights that goes with the winner.
Now please do not bleat on with a completely and utterly b*llocks statement about thats why this country is in a mess - did you live in the 70's when football violence was at its worst - did you never have a scrap at school or did you never get your fists out ever - I f*cking did because I had to otherwise I would have been in hosptial - it was me or him.
Teenagers still fight - teenagers still get drunk and teenagers still fight a bit more after the drink - the difference is the stupid c*nts use guns, knives and machetes nowadays - thats why this country is in a f*cking mess not because Chris Eubank's son defended himself and gave his opponent a beating with his fists, head and feet - and I stress unlike the majority of scraps nowadays where weapons are used.
Get real and live in that real world - throw out your pimms and cucumber sarnies and deal with f*cking real issues and not ridicule and spout b*llocks about a teenage lad who has made no worse mistake than many many people have on here - the difference is he is Chris Eubanks son and thats why he is getting chastised for it - f*cking double standards!!!!

Deal with my points Terry - come on - deal with the points or is it making you feel big ridiculing me on a boxing forum??Terry D wrote:I'm just killing time here. I'm a bad man. Nigel Benn plays 'Dangerous' when I walk into his house, then hides until he can gauge my reaction.Spud wrote:Terry D,

Recognize!
Spud, I'm torn between commenting on how f**king stupid you are at times or alternatively just laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of some of your sweeping statements.Spud wrote:Deserter,

Attitudes have not changed - teenagers still fight - teenagers still get drunk and teenagers still fight some more the difference is the stupid c*nts use guns, knives and machetes nowadays - thats why this country is in a f*cking mess not because Chris Eubank's son defended himself and gave his son a beating with his fists, head and feet - and I stress unlike the majority of scraps nowadays where weapons are used.

You accuse me of hypocrisy, and yet yours borders on the breath-taking. If you can't see how the 'wannabe gangsta' attitude displayed by Chris Jr is symptomatic of the increasing attitude problem with many youths then you're blind - why on earth do you think guns and knives have been more prevalent? It's because you've got teenagers who are prepared to use them in a bid to be considered 'bad boys' you muppet. It's why we've got massive problems with teachers being physically attacked, it's why we've got 'happy slapping', it's why I was watching GMTV this morning and hearing about a woman in Manchester attacked and kicked around like a football by a gang of up to 30 teenagers, it's why you've got a 'goth' girl kicked to death for looking different...
Now before you try and twist my words, I'm not suggesting he's capable of some of the acts I've just outlined, but I am saying that the attitude he displays and the language he uses glorifies the violence and plays up the whole 'bad boy' attitude, and it's the adoption of this personna by increasing numbers of youth that leads to those acts - it's the thin end of the wedge.
Do I think he's the worst offender out there? Of course not. Do I find it disgusting that he's revelling in his 'bad boy' personna and glorifying the violence? Absolutely. You have to draw the line somewhere and my personal morals mean I draw it way short of the pathetic glorification on Chris Jr's site.
Oh, and for what it's worth I've never had Pimms and cucumber sandwiches in my life mate. Again, you want to brand me as part of some mythical PC crowd, but how do you reconcile that with the fact that I think we need stronger discipline with our youth. along with measures to help them channel their energy in a positive fashion through sport etc (including boxing)? I have zero time for the PC far left-wing crowd you seek to associate me with, but clearly having 'old fashioned morals' with regards to things like stamping on people's heads is something that doesn't sit well with you.
The irony is that I would have thought your army background would have made you advocate a similar stance regarding greater discipline etc.
I still can't help but feel that if that website was that of an anonymous 16-year-old from Hackney rather than the son of a famous boxer you'd be saying that it was indicative of why we've got serious problems with a significant minority of today's youth...
And BC, I'm sorry, but I find it impossible to reconcile the bragging on display on that site with the shy, polite young man you speak of. I genuinely hope that is the reality but his site strongly suggests otherwise.

Agreed. Crazy thing to say. Not seen enough of the lad (in the ring, not the car park) to measure how good he eventually could be, but he didn't look all that special from the amateur vid on his MySpace. Sort of like David Haye without the power and hard right hand and Amir Khan without the hyper-activity.E wrote:boxingchat wrote:Talking as someone who knows him personally and has seen him train and fight you have all got him very wrong. Hey, if he inherits his father's chin it won't matter how wild he is and how upright he fights!
He'll grow up. Just give him time. fornicating hell.
Did some research and he's still undefeated as an amateur with only fight going the distance, which was his last one. That fight on his page was from September last year and he'd only just started working with McCallum, he was 17 in that fight (days away from being 18).
In the US they have Olympic Box-Offs around June/July to determine who goes. If Chris Jr won the National GG's he'd be invited to the Box-Offs, but apparently McCallum kept him home because he fears Olympic fame would get to his head IF he made it... as he's clearly naive ;)
