How dare you take the moral high ground by stating "no wonder this country is f*cked" - what a complete load of b*llocks!!!
It is you and the rest of your "do gooders" who cry at a bit of banter and then go into hypocritical mode by ridiculing those that are not as clever as you with words - and then you get on your soap box about a teenage lad who has clearly made a mistake by putting his video on youtube.
I don't know what age you f*cking lived in but even when I took a couple of beatings all those years ago I went into it knowing I was going to get hurt a whole lot less if I didn't adhere to the queensbury rules - you cry about this lad clearly making a mistake but you and your cronies bleat and bleat about it.
Instead of making a fuss about a lad kicking a bloke in the head a few times -why not make a fuss about some poor sod getting shot or knived - why not complain about pensioners get mugged - or crimes far worse than that.
But no - you choose to bleat and cry about 2 lads going into a fight - with both of them knowing the consequences if they hit the deck - both of them wanting the fight - and whats more both of them wanted the bragging rights that goes with the winner.
Now please do not bleat on with a completely and utterly b*llocks statement about thats why this country is in a mess - did you live in the 70's when football violence was at its worst - did you never have a scrap at school or did you never get your fists out ever - I f*cking did because I had to otherwise I would have been in hosptial - it was me or him.
Attitudes have not changed - teenagers still fight - teenagers still get drunk and teenagers still fight some more the difference is the stupid c*nts use guns, knives and machetes nowadays - thats why this country is in a f*cking mess not because Chris Eubank's son defended himself and gave his son a beating with his fists, head and feet - and I stress unlike the majority of scraps nowadays where weapons are used.
Get real and live in that real world - throw out your pimms and cucumber sarnies and deal with f*cking real issues and not ridicule and spout b*llocks about a teenage lad who has made no worse mistake than many many people have on here - the difference is he is Chris Eubanks son and thats why he is getting chastised for it - f*cking double standards!!!!
You accuse me of hypocrisy, and yet yours borders on the breath-taking. If you can't see how the 'wannabe gangsta' attitude displayed by Chris Jr is symptomatic of the increasing attitude problem with many youths then you're blind - why on earth do you think guns and knives have been more prevalent? It's because you've got teenagers who are prepared to use them in a bid to be considered 'bad boys' you muppet. It's why we've got massive problems with teachers being physically attacked, it's why we've got 'happy slapping', it's why I was watching GMTV this morning and hearing about a woman in Manchester attacked and kicked around like a football by a gang of up to 30 teenagers, it's why you've got a 'goth' girl kicked to death for looking different...
Now before you try and twist my words, I'm not suggesting he's capable of some of the acts I've just outlined, but I am saying that the attitude he displays and the language he uses glorifies the violence and plays up the whole 'bad boy' attitude, and it's the adoption of this personna by increasing numbers of youth that leads to those acts - it's the thin end of the wedge.
Do I think he's the worst offender out there? Of course not. Do I find it disgusting that he's revelling in his 'bad boy' personna and glorifying the violence? Absolutely. You have to draw the line somewhere and my personal morals mean I draw it way short of the pathetic glorification on Chris Jr's site.
Oh, and for what it's worth I've never had Pimms and cucumber sandwiches in my life mate. Again, you want to brand me as part of some mythical PC crowd, but how do you reconcile that with the fact that I think we need stronger discipline with our youth. along with measures to help them channel their energy in a positive fashion through sport etc (including boxing)? I have zero time for the PC far left-wing crowd you seek to associate me with, but clearly having 'old fashioned morals' with regards to things like stamping on people's heads is something that doesn't sit well with you.
The irony is that I would have thought your army background would have made you advocate a similar stance regarding greater discipline etc.
I still can't help but feel that if that website was that of an anonymous 16-year-old from Hackney rather than the son of a famous boxer you'd be saying that it was indicative of why we've got serious problems with a significant minority of today's youth...
And BC, I'm sorry, but I find it impossible to reconcile the bragging on display on that site with the shy, polite young man you speak of. I genuinely hope that is the reality but his site strongly suggests otherwise.
I actually concur with a lot of what you are stating but as usual you and others twist everything I have to write on here.
My point all along especially if you read my previous posts on this thread - is that both lads consented to have a fight - teenage lads in fact adults have been having fights for years - I will state again both lads consented to this fight.
But because it is Chris Eubanks son he is ridiculed for it.
Whats more this very forum has had a variety of posters posting a variety of youtube clips of various sorts of fights some more brutal than others - but yet again its Chris Eubanks son is the one ridiculed for it.
I will state again - a lot of your post makes perfect sense - but deal with the real issues and yes a stronger discipline towards the youths of todays society would indeed be very good move - but there would still be fights that hasn't changed for bloody years and years - I feel yours and others quite personal attacks on Chris Eubanks son are uncalled for when in reality what is he really guilty of that his opponent isn't?
I am and have always been one for strong discipline - I would not have stuck the Army for 24 years if I wasn't - but I also like to believe we should deal with real issues - and if they have been dealt with then start sliding down the severity scale!!!!
Now please Deserter - I have no problems in carrying on this debate - but lets stop the ridiculing as I think it is a bloody good debate to have and you and others typically miss many of the points I try to make and I think that is all too convenient.
