Chris Eubank !!!
In the early 1990s 1 of his roosters reminded him of Chris Eubank so he got his favorite roosters to show him how to dance around him and what moves and stratgies to use and how to beat him , thats why he wanted 2 fight Eubank so much !!
Was/is Roy seriously ill,?
Roy Jones named 1 of his roosters
Don't know if this has anything to do with it (from Dark Trade):
Despite his professed apathy for Eubank, I knew that the WBO title-holder had garned some attention in Pensacola. While fooling around at home - showing me his shadow-boxing technique against one of his dogs, or slipping into a muscle-bound pose as he stood on top of the farm's 'R.J.'-initialled wrought-iron gate - Roy Jones would offer a reminder. 'Hey, look,' he laughed, 'this one is for Chris Eubank - you tell him this one's from me to him, you tell him I'm waitin', anytime an' anyplace he likes...'
Yet the threat offered by Jones was so convincing that it seemed unlikely Eubank would meet him. In contract to Hove's 'Simply the Best', Jones was 'ready to take on anyone. I'm ready for Chris Eubank, Nigel Benn or any other guy you care to mention. I'd really like to go back and fight over there. I was in London when I was eighteen years old - for the Benn-Watson fight - and I had a great time.'
Eubank's fights I think were on the Prime Network which reached Florida.
And yes Jones is sick. He once said he'd shoot a gun in his mouth if he lost a points decision in the pro's.
Seem to remember him doing some kind of chicken dance against Woods, too. He did it some of his early, untelevised fights, too, moving his head like a cock. Just a sick boy from a farm who's father forced him to box.

did a 'rooster move' on Glen Kelly too didn't he? Hands behind his back, face forward, then as Kelly takes the bait he whips a monster hook round into Kellys mush.hitman_hatton1 wrote:yeah the toney knockdown is the famous one.

toney mocks him back and get caught with the left hook.
