Cause Enzo Is better than Mormeck and Haye was badly weight drained against Mormeck Is what I based my pick partly on. I didn't root for either as I like both.
What?

There are no Haye Ball Huggers.

Only British Ball huggers on these forums are the Hatton and / or Calzaghe Ball Huggers.
You are picking apart Calzaghe's opponents' records with abandon, but jeezus, look at Haye's record! Mormeck and Enzo . . .that's it!!! You want me to go and take apart the records of who THEY beat . . .won't be very difficult.
You have missed the point by a mile and a half...

Calzaghe had a Lame Division, but he stayed there and "defended for 10 years".

Haye has a Lame division, and he is moving up NOW, not after 10 years, NOW!

He's more technical than Hatton but not Joe entertainment and talent wise.

You guys are getting way too carried away with Haye.
Are you honestly saying Haye isn't more entertaining than Calzaghe?? :o

Max.... sometimes...
Entertains only when his right hand effectively sparks the guy otherwise, he looks bad stamina wise getting the win.

Joe Vs Lacy and Kessler was more entertaining than the Mormeck fight.

Sometimes, I think some of you are retarded.
So speaks a youngster who has only followed the sport a couple of years!!!

Most of you guys are shocking for people who have followed the sport for 5+ years.

Yes there Is, there are, alot of you are going overboard like with Harrison, Haye hasn't fought at Heavyweight yet.

Calzaghe made the division less lame and become historically the first undisputed champ and cleaned out. Haye used the lame divison to look exciting and dupe people Into thinking he can do the same at Heavyweight.

Haye is a great fighter, no question, but why can't people give props to them both?

Calzaghe has just beaten Lacy, Kessler and Hopkins and still gets shit

Don't know if he's the best brit boxer, but he's certainly more deserving of respect than his contemporaries. He wants to fight the best guys around and doesn't follow the pattern of making a fortune fighting zero risk fights before taking on a live body late in his career if ever.

We have been over this a lot of times.

Nobody is Belittling Calzaghe, if they are, their being Harsh.

But Beating an Exciting ClubFighter, a simple Belt Holder and 43 Year old Man is hardly Legendary stuff is it.

For a Fighter of Joe's Calibre he should have aimed Higher

Sorry, but that is one of the most ridiculous posts I've ever read on any boxing forum. Just unbelievable. Somewhere in Britain a village is missing its idiot.

I think it's very close between Hatton, Haye and Calzaghe.

Right now I'd say Ricky still at the top, lost to Mayweather but then Mayweather is a tremendous fighter at his peak and Hatton went up in weight to fight him, exactly the sort of thing Calzaghe has avoided. Hatton's wins over Kostya T, Castillo and the like are better than Calzaghe's imo.

Calzaghe is just above Haye after the Hopkins win, but if Haye does go on and win a heavyweight title and beat a couple of top 10 guys then I would give him the nod, and the big difference is that Haye has the time to get those wins. Also I'd say Mormeck, Gurov and Maccarinelli match up to Joe's wins apart from Hopkins, especially given how Haye won them by convincing KO's and travelling to Paris for Mormeck.
