Not least because Eubank and Warren have never liked eachother. Infact, they've always disliked eachother.
Yes but the fact that Boxingshat said that Eubank would 'definitely have made the Olympics' suggests that there is a serious interest...when is the time he has made a positive comment about a non-SN fighter?

These kids have no respect for others and need a beating to put them back in line, hey it worked for me when I were younger. If more people stood up for themselves then these nuggets will get back in touch with reality.
Your response is similar to the one I would perhaps give - but if you read the responses to many of the posts they would disagree
Ayling and Eubank go back to about 1988.E wrote:STP wrote:I don't think Eubank would have his boy sign with SN.

Ayling worked for Barry Hearn as well, and used to write Eubank's life story on the front pages of his fight programmes.
I'm actually referring to Chris Jr, the other dumbass and anyone else who gives it the 'big I am'. They all deserve a vicious beat down, either that or throw 'em in the army so we can see how big and tough they really are.Deserter wrote:Spud wrote:Banjo, banjo wrote:Some of these mouthy sods need a good kicking these days, one night just before christmas when I were on the doors another one of these wannabe gangsters tried it on me and guess where he spent the night.

Spud, I think you're missing the point here. Unless I'm mistaken Banjo is suggesting that it's Chris Jr who needs a good kicking!
The funniest part is that he is the son of a multi millionaire and grew up in a big house in a lovely area with two loving parents..... so his street gangster shit doesnt wash ![[icon_wink.gif] ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)
Having said, that the video of his 2nd amateur fight was fairly impressive... if he has his fathers work ethic and chin (as someone already mentioned) he could do something.

Yes, it should be admissible in court as evidence of certain traits.Terry D wrote:Pimms is the must have drink. In fact you can spot Spud in a pub easily, he is the only guy who is not quaffing pimms with his pinky extended.Loynesy wrote:I think Pimms is getting a hard time here.
I like Pimms, it is refreshing and has hurt no-one. Please stop disrespecting Pimms.
On a serious note Loynesy what would happen if this shy retiring kid is pushed into giving out another public slapping, could this ill-advised video be used as evidence that he has form? If so why keep it in the public domain, I imagine having Eubank as a dad attracts a fair bit of stick so the guy may have to lamp someone again. Would this vid destroy a 'quiet lad' claim in his defence?
Even more worrying, is that he is clearly commiting a criminal offence. If I was the other party (I'm not commeting on whether he deserved it incidentally), I'd go and file a police report or, if I had a bit more nous, try and contact a tabloid and make some cash out of it - its perfect Mail on sunday material.
In any event, BChat, if you are a friend of his and/or the family, I'd advise him to take it off a public internet forum.

I'm torn on this, do I buy into the notion that the world is a mess and its all because of youths like this or do I actually wonder if You Tube and Facebook had been around in the sixties we'd discover Reggie Kray and Frankie Fraser has 175,461 friends and videos of their attacks were being published by wannabees with Nokia's?Deserter wrote:Spud, I'm torn between commenting on how f**king stupid you are at times or alternatively just laughing at the sheer ridiculousness of some of your sweeping statements.Spud wrote:Deserter,
How dare you take the moral high ground by stating "no wonder this country is f*cked" - what a complete load of b*llocks!!!
It is you and the rest of your "do gooders" who cry at a bit of banter and then go into hypocritical mode by ridiculing those that are not as clever as you with words - and then you get on your soap box about a teenage lad who has clearly made a mistake by putting his video on youtube.
I don't know what age you f*cking lived in but even when I took a couple of beatings all those years ago I went into it knowing I was going to get hurt a whole lot less if I didn't adhere to the queensbury rules - you cry about this lad clearly making a mistake but you and your cronies bleat and bleat about it.
Instead of making a fuss about a lad kicking a bloke in the head a few times -why not make a fuss about some poor sod getting shot or knived - why not complain about pensioners get mugged - or crimes far worse than that.
But no - you choose to bleat and cry about 2 lads going into a fight - with both of them knowing the consequences if they hit the deck - both of them wanting the fight - and whats more both of them wanted the bragging rights that goes with the winner.
Now please do not bleat on with a completely and utterly b*llocks statement about thats why this country is in a mess - did you live in the 70's when football violence was at its worst - did you never have a scrap at school or did you never get your fists out ever - I f*cking did because I had to otherwise I would have been in hosptial - it was me or him.
Attitudes have not changed - teenagers still fight - teenagers still get drunk and teenagers still fight some more the difference is the stupid c*nts use guns, knives and machetes nowadays - thats why this country is in a f*cking mess not because Chris Eubank's son defended himself and gave his son a beating with his fists, head and feet - and I stress unlike the majority of scraps nowadays where weapons are used.
Get real and live in that real world - throw out your pimms and cucumber sarnies and deal with f*cking real issues and not ridicule and spout b*llocks about a teenage lad who has made no worse mistake than many many people have on here - the difference is he is Chris Eubanks son and thats why he is getting chastised for it - f*cking double standards!!!!
You accuse me of hypocrisy, and yet yours borders on the breath-taking. If you can't see how the 'wannabe gangsta' attitude displayed by Chris Jr is symptomatic of the increasing attitude problem with many youths then you're blind - why on earth do you think guns and knives have been more prevalent? It's because you've got teenagers who are prepared to use them in a bid to be considered 'bad boys' you muppet. It's why we've got massive problems with teachers being physically attacked, it's why we've got 'happy slapping', it's why I was watching GMTV this morning and hearing about a woman in Manchester attacked and kicked around like a football by a gang of up to 30 teenagers, it's why you've got a 'goth' girl kicked to death for looking different...
Now before you try and twist my words, I'm not suggesting he's capable of some of the acts I've just outlined, but I am saying that the attitude he displays and the language he uses glorifies the violence and plays up the whole 'bad boy' attitude, and it's the adoption of this personna by increasing numbers of youth that leads to those acts - it's the thin end of the wedge.
Do I think he's the worst offender out there? Of course not. Do I find it disgusting that he's revelling in his 'bad boy' personna and glorifying the violence? Absolutely. You have to draw the line somewhere and my personal morals mean I draw it way short of the pathetic glorification on Chris Jr's site.
Oh, and for what it's worth I've never had Pimms and cucumber sandwiches in my life mate. Again, you want to brand me as part of some mythical PC crowd, but how do you reconcile that with the fact that I think we need stronger discipline with our youth. along with measures to help them channel their energy in a positive fashion through sport etc (including boxing)? I have zero time for the PC far left-wing crowd you seek to associate me with, but clearly having 'old fashioned morals' with regards to things like stamping on people's heads is something that doesn't sit well with you.
The irony is that I would have thought your army background would have made you advocate a similar stance regarding greater discipline etc.
I still can't help but feel that if that website was that of an anonymous 16-year-old from Hackney rather than the son of a famous boxer you'd be saying that it was indicative of why we've got serious problems with a significant minority of today's youth...
And BC, I'm sorry, but I find it impossible to reconcile the bragging on display on that site with the shy, polite young man you speak of. I genuinely hope that is the reality but his site strongly suggests otherwise.
The only thing I will say is, those who deplore this behaviour and yet helped create the credit culture in which we live, the materialism encouraged by Thatcher's Britian and the collapse of blue collar industry that devalued male role models, created a generation of latch-key kids with no aspiration or hope ought to take a look in the mirror. Broken families, communities and spirit from the working class inner cities, or Northern towns is the real root cause. And can be traced back to the 80's, when the "pull the ladder up Jack", "I'm alright" mantra was the sentiment that prevailed. The ripples of those years, of the decisions and paths taken in those dark times are being felt now, and its like a butterfly effect.
And we're all guilty of it now, we all sing along to the "work 55 hours a week" for a 37 hour wage, see the kids for 20 minutes, replace parenthood with materialism. Nobody else in Europe does it. Measures their quality of life by salary, hours worked and inches of television.
Playsations above human contact, holidays abroad above quality time, all the time - the pursuit of bought happiness, of have now pay later.
That ethos of have now pay later poisons everything. Its why jobs in factories are sneered at, its why working at MacDonalds is laughed at and yet poncing off the state is willingly accepted.
People want more than they're willing to work for, they wont instant, undeserved gratification. They want a tv lifestyle, they want a plasma existance. They hate the Polish and Romanians and Lithuanians for being willing to work in normal, every day jobs, collect their wages and be grateful.
Why is a plasma existance important? You can't afford it. And what does it actually add to your life. 500 channels and people still need Sky Plus, why not breath some air. Why not take your son to the park rather than play him on Fifa. Why not take your kids for a walk in the woods instead of Minorca?
And Britain cannot afford much more neglect of the trusted, working class values that this credit culture, this selfish, me, me, me approach to everything that we all gleefully accept has fed. You deny you accept it, perhaps you dont. Perhaps you deny we're engulfed by this selfishness, perhaps you thinks its because of immigration or just those thickies from the inner cities or the war in Iraq or its the tv's fault, or videogames or Big Brother or George Bush, the media or the internet or the price of oil. As long as its not you hey? Exactly, nobody will accept their role in the bigger picture.
Its a mess, a directionless, misguided lemming voyage to the abyss because nobody will accept that we've all bought into this new reality. This selfishness, this fear of contact with others, this abdication of our principle role - to nurture, educate and protect the next generation.
I dont see how society can be galvanised to re-embrace itself into one community, certainly looking for the next generation to do it seems ridiculous given the appalling example of capitalist glutony we've set and the horrific social environment we've created for them to learn from.
If a dog bites a child, its it just the dogs fault or his breeding, owners, environment, behaviour of the child, circumstance, upbringing also to blame....so yeh, call for the dog to be put down and claim the problem is solved.
It isn't. Because all the other factors that created that dog or its moment of madness remain and they're factors we all contribute to or engineer through either apathy, silence, fear or selfishness.

I entirely agree Dave. Where I live, 1 in 3 children in the borough, is from a houshold with no income, and there is the largest housing estate in Europe. Meanwhile there are million pound houses just a five minute walk away. There's an entire generation of young men in Lambeth, who roam the streets dealing drugs and fighting one another. They all want to give it the large and are out 'earning' or 'grafting' in other words, selling drugs, robbing people, and breaking into shops or houses. The only important thing now is how much money you have, buying a house, making money, and so on and so on.
Things are going to get a hell of a lot worse until the issue of the vast poverty gap in this country is addressed. You cannot taunt people with pretty baubles and then tell them, 'sorry mate, not for you, you're not wealthy enough to have these things' and then be surprised when they smash the window of the jewellery shop and make a grab for it.

this is a fantastic post... sir, i salute you.
No word of a lie. I walked past a large piece of graffiti this morning that exclaimed 'Good morning Lemmings!'.
What have you been up to Payne? It is like the Stone Roses all over again.
Ah man, there is a lot of self-analysis in there. I forced my self to have a go at some 13 year olds who were dialling 999 and pissing about ina phone box at 4pm in the high-street. At first I walked past, got in my car and then I thought, no. Someone, even in this mobile phone world, may need that phonebox - so I got out and tore a strip off them. As dozens walked past scared to intervene.
I'm not big or bold or tough, but I thought its time I stopped walking past. Dont curse the dark, if you wont light a candle I once read.
But then when I got back in the car, with the kids still pissing around. I thought. It's not their fault. They've just been shown no respect, learned no respect and lack structure and meaning, authority, discipline or the value of things. Too involved an analysis of lads being teenage prats? Perhaps.
Which takes me back to my opening point....is the truth really just that the advent of internet, mobile media, social sites provide a window on this behaviour, glamourise and promote it.
Are kids really any different now or do these new mediums simply provide benchmark and how to guides that weren't available in the 60, 70 or 80's.
Its a complex puzzle.
Too libertarian to blame society, the system rather than the individual? Perhaps.
