Post by Knucklez »

Which fighters are often considered with the very best of all time, in two or more different weights classes:

To start:

SRR
Ezzard Charles
Bob Fitzsimmons perhaps.

"Bob Fitzsimmons PERHAPS"

That is all time winner--worthy of serving of a prime example of the cluelessness pervading these "boxing" websites.

So why do you come on here Gramps? If everybody is so clueless on here, why do you waste your time reading our posts which obviously wind you up so much?

i don't think fitzsimmons belongs as one of the best in any weight class but he is without question one of the pound for pound greats. i feel the same way about sam langford. fitzsimmons won the middle title and defended it once, won the heavy title and then lost in his first defense and did the same at light heavy. if you take what he did in each weight class it's hard to label him one of the best but if you put his whole record together, it's hard to question his greatness.

Remember that Granberry is the man who said that if a southpaw threw a right rook, he'd punch himself in the face. Also remember that Granberry was repeatedly caught lying in the "West Coast" thread.

Then dismiss his opinion, as it is worthless.

I'm not sure I disagree with you. Who would you class as his competition at that weight, as well as the other first-class Jr. Middles?
