Better fighter than commentator

Post by Robinson »

What fighters do you think are better inside the ring with gloves on rather than on the outside with the mic on...

I found Pernell Whitacker to be a little hard to follow, and more interestd in the fight than analysing.

In the early 90s Lennox Lewis seemed almost pointless as a colour commentator with Bernstein almost having to prod words out of him at times..

I always found something a bit annoying about Bobby Czyz....I think its jest his whole Mensa man attitude.

Lewis never seems to say much when I have heard him.

Sweat Pea just sounds terrible, I had him on a Holmes-Holy tape and
well it had moments where he trailed off..

Lewis is pretty drab, though to be fair, he's only there because of his status as a fighter, not because of any broadcasting talent.

Barry Michael is pretty bad here in Australia. He swallows all the Mundine spin and carries on like a pork chop
