Did King really have two bouts on the same day? Nov. 27, 1928?

from an outsiders observation, without any confirmation, I am willing to accept King's entrys for the following reasons. Whoever is inputing the British (also French)records has, as far as I can tell, been exceedingly accurate. Look at King's record and you will see two bouts on 8-19-1928, 11-27-1928 and three (3) bouts on 12-10-1929. Could be wrong, have been in the past, but I don't think so on this one.

I inputted the Johnny King record :it was taken from the Brian Hughes biography of King.He fought twice on one day :and thrice in a Sporting Life flyweight competition.

Great. Thanks, Stac. Just wanted to make sure. Usually, when I came across an oddity like this when I'm entering bouts, I make a specific mention in the comment section of both (or all three) bouts to the effect of: "One of two bouts Smith fought on the same day." This way, there is no confusion or question whatsoever for future readers. Ric
