What happened to Gerald is sad, he was one of my favourite fighters at the time. However the man was a vile thug outside the ring who got a kick out of animal cruelty it seems. Unfortunately for Gerald the old saying "What goes around, comes around" will haunt him for the rest of his life.
Shame on u you sick fuuck. You really are a poor excuse for a human being. You speak as if the dogs that were engaged in fighting were old age pensioners forced into fighting. They were animals asshole. Animals by their nature will kill and act without pity and mercy.
All I can say is god bless gerald and I pray that one day he will see again and walk again and live a full life. The lord can make it happen and it will happen god willing.

Typical apologist filth. McClellan asked, & he received. End of his story. Back to drooling all over himself. It's still a better life than what he left for those innocent animals.

Aside from the dogfighting, never got the impression that he was a completely likeable guy. Hard for me to put a personal spin cause I was around the guy for like 11 seconds total out of my life. Some of the other fighters spoke fairly well of him, so he must've not been that huge a "thug."

I have every problem with dogfighting that other people in here have, but won't go into "he deserved it or what comes goes" angle at all. Everyone makes mistakes in life, some bigger than others, but I still don't want to see them end up like Gerald did.

I guess besides the 11 seconds I was around him in a hotel lobby in San Diego, my best memory is collecting the biggest boxing wager I ever laid out when he KO'd Julian Jackson. So I guess I can say he made me a little money.
