I thought this might be Stephens next step, he just missed out on qualifying for the Olympics, so another 4 years of waiting for another chance was to much.

Agree that waiting four years would be silly, who knows who could come through the ranks.

There is no guarantee that come 2012 he will qualify.

Yeah, looking how impressive Gavin is looking now - I think we should all agree that Khan made the correct decision in turning over.... he might not have qualified either.
