My guess would be record books, newspapers, etc.

FOR EXAMPLE I HAVE GOTTEN MOST OF MY RESULTS FROM RING RECORD BOOKS, BILL MILEYS MID-AMERICAN RECORD BOOKS (published in the eighties before he stopped.) AND ALSO FIGHT SHEET THAT ARE SENT OUT BY REQUEST / OR AT LEAST USED TO BE SENT OUT BY THE ILLINOIS AND INDIANA BOXING COMMISSIONS. SOME EDITORS I WOULD ASSUME HAVE ALSO GOTTEN INFORMATION FROM RING MAGAZING AND OTHER RECORD BOOKS. ONE OF THE BETTER BOOKS OUT NOW IS THE RECORD BOOK BY - FIGHT FAX INC.

I have just gone through the entire '66 RRB and identified everyone(except for a few European fighters)in there. Cross-indexing and creating records for those not added. I also have done the '44 and '58 books. We have added 280 boxers since last Friday.

Great job Robin! I'll do the same with T.S. Andrews' 1924 "Ring Battles of Centuries."

Another source would be a great idea, may catch the ones that RRB didn't pick up. As for fight fax it is probably the largest collection of records on the market today and if there is a problem it is researched from other sources. Some of our editors are among the best in the business.
