Tim Bradley Radio Interview
You can listen to Timothy talk about his upcoming fight in this audio interivew (track #2)

Amongst other things he says he's never been down in his career and that he's going to come on strong down the straight when Junior loses his snap, he says it's going to be cagey to start off with though

Witter needs to impress on ITV, Its his big chance. I think he needs to find the KO to not only do that but to win the fight also. The longer it goes on the greater the risk of losing on points to Bradley. It looks as if it may be a tough night for the Bratford fighter who needs to be fully focussed on this fight rather than thoughts of unifying in the division. If Witter was to lose his career would be in shreads, whereas a good win could lead to him becomming a household name with more fights on ITV. A mid rounds KO would be ideal if he can do it.
He definitely looks the part. Amazing muscle definition.Cannibal wrote:Bradley looks in fab shape in these photo's

I've got to find my TV DVB-T USB drivers so I can record this, but I haven't been able to yet. :(

I don't know much about Bradley, but frankly this is not a great match up - Bradley hasn't done a lot to earn this crack.
On paper it looks a comfortable win for Witter and the bookies agree, but I wouldn't be surprised to see a distance fight.
From the snippets I have read, it looks like Bradley knows what he will be up against with Witter, and I am wondering if Witter is looking past Bradley and will consequently put on a poor show ala Lynes.

As already posted a physique like that means absolutely nothing in boxing.
Witter has a great chance to impress a wider audience that wouldn't have otherwise been aware of him or may have been disinterested. I hope he seizes the opportunity to showcase his undoubted skills, not by overcompensating the risk averse nature of a lot of his past performances, but by being in control from the off and giving this kid a consistent systematic skilled beatdown.
Come on Witter do the business.

As I just wrote in another thread: he looks far too dry to endure the later rounds. If Witter's fit, alert and thinking tactically, he should take over after the first few.
The more Mosley carried muscle, the worse he performed. Ditto Tyson. The runner Michael Johnson once said of Dwain Chambers: 'that bulk is not necessary.'
Holyfield? But I take your point, Evander was an exception.Goz wrote:Top fighters never look like that.
