Nobody knows who he is, but Herbie Hide's opponent on the Froch-Adamu undercard on March 12 is a Brazilian.

The Brazilian Heavyweight Champ is called George Hairyass!! Check it out if you don't believe me. Johnny Nelson UD'd him and Fres Oquenda knocked him out in 11.

I kinda like Herbie Hide

I really hope he beats Danny williams than fights Audley Harrison for the WBF title later in the year!

HIDE vs HARRISON is the fight the whole world wants and because they are both BBC fighters I see no reason it won't happen!

Me cant stand him he's a f*cking nutter. Like a menace mate, gets up to all kinds of unsavoury business according to some norwich folk I know.

Summing it up if he such a bad man why does he carry a knife round Norwich I mean hardly the most intimidating of areas is it.

hope Danny connects Herbie's heads and arse. Tho a match up with Harrison for Hide would be a big pull you are right.

but I was over at Boxingaddicts and someone had a BNP Link and I clicked onto it and was Horrified at what I SAW.

I than did a google seach and found out more about the BNP and decided to find a anti-BNP link to inform people what the BNP really was!

I hope you Brit's here don't share the views of some of the people at the Boxing addicts British Forum!

Nasty get a life mate...So what Animal Mofo has a link to the BNP....Its a political party and if that his beliefs then he is entitled to that...Although I dont agree with the BNP ideas myself people are entitled to their own opinions etc....

I heard Herbie hide was being targeted by groups of men because they were jealous of his money and fame.

As his hands are his fortune, I can understand why he would carry a Knife to warn of people without having to risk his hands by punching them!

There NO way HIDE will lose to Danny Williams!

Here in south east England racism is rife and there is a great deal of sympathy and support for the bnp (i refuse to give them capital letters).
Unfortunately most of the racists don't want to entertain the idea that they are small minded bigots.

Was there really a link to the bnp at boxingaddicts? Why wasn't it taken down straight away?

Anyway, it's good to see that others are willing to fight against racism despite the fact they're from another country.

Look I never said I AGREED with him carrying a KNIFE!

I understood why he'd carry one.

His hands are his tools and if he breaks them having a stupid Bar fight, he'll lose his income!

What better to wave a knife and scare off any potential nutters!

As long as he was only using the knife for show, I have no problem with it!

Im from South East London and have been brought up in a few different areas of South london and racism isnt rife mate thats rubbish.

I know most of Kent and most of the fellas and the only particular areas that have been noted for racism are Eltham,Bexleyheath and Welling all places which are mainly full of complete knobs anyway....

What makes you say its rife as you have surprised me by saying that?

I'm from Leeds but have lived in Liverpool, Manchester, the north east, Yorkshire and now south east Kent.
Out of all these places i have heard more racist slurs and comments in Kent than the rest of the places put together. Ashford in my opinion is by far the worst area i've seen. There is wide spread support for organisations like the bnp.
Most of the time these people don't even realise that they are being offensive, it's sad but true. I believe it's down to Britains immigration policy that many down here believe is taken away their national identity.

As for the opening of your posting i didn't mean London. I've got no experience of what life is like in London, so i would'nt comment. I only go there to shop or party!
I will also acknowledge the fact that there are many good salt of the earth blokes in Kent, it's not all bad.

Sorry if it sounds like a lecture but you asked me to explain.

Did you ever think Glittermonkey thats because there is no where near as many black/etc people up North as there is down South. I know plenty of people up North who went to schools with like 1 or 2 black people in the whole school whilst down South you find schools have a much more diverse population.

I agree with Nasty's link, if this other guy is entitled to his own views then so is Nasty.

Costa, i think you've under-estimated the amount of diversity in the north of England. It is true that in rural parts of the north it's unusual to see anything other than white faces, other areas have amazing ethnic diversity.
I'd say overall that the majority of areas in which i've lived have had a higher ethnic population than the area of Kent that i currently live in. But here is where i've found the most racist views.

I agree that whoever posted the bnp link is entitled to their view. But only if by sharing it with other people it causes no offence.

Oh yeah, Williams beats Hide any day of the week. I wouldn't even credit him with a glass chin, I mean have you seen his fight Vs Klitschko? One knockdown came from a punch to the shoulder, and the other from a clinch!!

Williams beating Hide. No way. Danny's just way too ponderous, plus he's more than likely to cave in halfway through the fight.

Hmm. point taken.

But from what i've seen of Hide in his last couple of fights, there's nothing to suggest that Hide can beat Williams. I know DW has looked like shit in his past few fights, but Hide has been far from impressive in my opinion. I think Dany knows this his last chance, and if (thats a big if) he comes into the fight in good shape, I facny him to stop Hide. If he comes in looking like a fat pile of shit, then I couldn't pick a winner.

I'll concede that Hide's best days are behind him but i just can't see Danny ever being mentally strong enough to win thes type of fights. I'd rather see either man against Audley. At least then we'd see if he has a chance of living up to his hype.

I don't see either fight happening though. After Harrison beats Hersisia, I reckon he'll move onto Europe, and be fighting for the European title within a few fights. I can't see him getting any major fights here in good old blighty, after being virtually frozen out by allegedly, plus If he wins the European title, both Hide and Williams would be considered a step back.
