Mosley Vs Judah OFF

It's Official: Mosley-Judah off!
The scheduled May 31 fight between Shane Mosley and Zab Judah has been canceled due to an arm injury suffered by Judah during his Las Vegas training camp it was announced by Golden Boy Promotions today. The HBO Pay-Per-View event was scheduled to take place at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Judah suffered multiple severe lacerations on his right forearm and received 50 stitches to close the wounds suffered in an accidental fall. As a result, Judah will be unable to train for four weeks and was forced to withdraw from the bout. "It is very unfortunate that Zab suffered this injury and that this great event had to be canceled," said Richard Schaefer, CEO of Golden Boy Promotions. "We are already in discussions with all parties involved to attempt to reschedule the fight for the near future." Tickets purchased for this event may be refunded at the original point of purchase.

On Boxingtalk, they're suggesting Mosley - Mayorga might take its place.

Shame, I was looking forward to this one.... would have been a good fight.

I just can't see Mayorga getting to 147 anymore, which is a shame.

Just goes to show that you need to keep your footing in the shower.

Glad I didn't buy a ticket for this in the end, what with the Froch card and UFC 85 I've been cursed lately.

Chuck Liddell was supposed to headline but got injured.

Still, Joe Silva pulled out a great replacement fight in Matt Hughes v Thiago 'Pitbull' Alves. Thats what you call class match making.

Bisping was meant to fight 'the fatherless bas tard' Chris Leben but that got pulled too. Think Leben had legal issues he needed to sort out in the US.

Still, its a deep, sick card nonetheless.

Werdum v Vera is an awesome high level heavyweight fight

Swick v Davis will be fun

My boy Thiago Tavares is gonna tear it up. Anderson silve conqueror Ryo Chonan fights, Rashad Evans v 'Sandman' James Irvin could be good while it lasts.

Walsall lad Paul Taylor will have a fight of the night with transplanted frenchman Jess Liaudin and there is Pancrase stand out Marquadt on the bill.

If I wasnt on holiday for that bill I would be there for it 100%.

UFC still offers a far superior product than 90% of most boxing shows. This weekend's Hennessy show brought together some excellent fights - 3 excellent fights on one card, unfortunately bad luck rulled out two of them.

SN needs to step up to the plate IMO and put on a show of similar worth.
