I wouldn't put it past him and Gomez's post insinuates that he thinks that somat underhand has gone on
He won the purse bids for Adamu but why would he want to sign him? He won the bid for Woods Vs Johnson 3 too and didn't want to sign Clinton, he just hoped they Impressed enough to be a Calzaghe victim.

Gomez will say anything pro Froch and anything negative against anyone anti Froch, he's nothing more than a yes man.

Calzaghe will obviously vacate them belts eventually anyway since he will be retiring next year.
Why Wouldn't Warren want to sign Carl? he's a fantastic talent a future World Champion and Calzaghe's on his way out

Both Gomez and Boxingchat have said that Froch and Warren have had talks in the past about a move, but Froch has turned him down
Hardly a talent, he's been pro longer than the likes of Bute and Haye and they have titles by now.

Maybe Frank wanted him to Impress enough on his show so he could match him up with Joe but wanted him to Impress with a soft touch. Froch could get further with Frank, than Mick, he's been stuck on domestic level for too long. Witter's his best fighter and stuggles to get him enough fights.

he's actually well infomed - your accusation could easily be thrown back against yourself re Warren.

Warren surely needs someone to pass Joe's titles on to. Froch would've been ideal. Face it, the man fought to stage a Carl Froch fight. Why, if not to win him over? Was it due to interest in Adamo, no way. He was as interested in the African as he was in M'Baye during the Hatton feud, IMO.
It's opinion and judged off the way Gomez posts and slagging off of anyone associated as being talked about as a Froch opponent Is what my accusation Is based off.

He's only Imformed of anything to do with Froch, not anything outside of him.

You guys are making stuff up without proper proof and there Is the thread warning us to be careful about what we say about any promoter.

Yeah you could say im very well informed.

The fact i had lunch with Carl straight after the weigh in and run his website may indicate that when i talk about milestones in his career, i tell the truth as their is no mileage in fabricating lies.

Of course i'm gonna back Froch, i make no apology for that.

I thought some folk would be interested to hear the low down on items they would never normally get to know.

Ok let's sue Warren. He said Haye wouldn't make cruiser again, that he only had a couple of fights left due to bad hands, that Haye wouldn't make cruiser again pre Mormeck, that DH couldn't call himself the real cruiser champ unless he fought Macca (!), that he'd retire if Haye beat Macca, LOL

That's malicious intent to harm someone's reputation.

How well founded were those sniping derisory comments written in a well read newspaper, especially the first 4, eh? The man seemed pretty certain of himself. In fact Warren and Setanta did a pretty brilliant job of making Haye look like a 2nd rater and I can't see too much honesty in that.

In fact it all seems pretty fvcking outrageous now.

Max, we should all club together and buy you a WBU belt or perhaps a WBO Classics DVD for good service.

Speaking of lies, 70% of the WBO title fights we've seen on these shores aren't fit to be called title fights. How do guys suddenly get ranked in the WBO when they're going to fight a Warren fighter. This is so much bollocks on here it's unreal.

Yeah and that was opinion. Warren has since credited Haye when he won and most people talk before the fights happen, Froch does It all the time.

You can buy me some WBO fights and I'll make a pornographic photograph for you and edit your favourite chumps faces on It since photoshop skills I have more than money. :TU:

The WBO Is as legit as the ring sting title and the other 3, you best get over It. The IBF became legit when Holes and Hagler became their champs, the WBO has Campell and Casa as champs and your a fan of Casa and Campell.

The WBO have some good champs lately, Klitschko, Guzman, Calzaghe and Caledron.

Speaking of bollocks you Ignored that Spinks was robbed and was glad he was because you don't like him. No boxer deserves to be robbed of a decision. You excused Casa's gift decision too and tried to justify It saying he would outclass him In his prime when you got excited when he beat Katsidis who Isn't world class.

Your one of the many oversensitive boxing fans too.

I certainly don't think Casa should waste time vs Santa Cruz when he has maybe 1 more good fight in him. Spinks is terrible to watch, so bad that he ends up getting robbed in his home town. He does himself few favours.

Ring title and WBO have 1 similarity. You don't have to fight many mandatories. Nil with the Ring, few with the WBO. Both titles that can be really abused. Look what GBP are doing at lightweight -you have to be a GBP fighter to fight for the title, it seems!

If you're dick length inches is the same # that Calzaghe made mandatory defences you'd need some photoshop skills!

IBF were the 1st to think the British fans were dupes but those newcomers fvcked off after they were sent packing for trying to set up a rival body to oppose the BBBofC. Was it clever to allow 2 more sanctionign bodies to create chaos?

IMO these bodies have devalued our traditional titles, taking the money away from the good fights that can be made @ British, Commonwealth and Euro level. Now the money is in the rubbish fights for the paper belts which the media cretins have to tell everyone is good.

Fighter like Froch must find it hard to maintain focus when he's had all these opponent changes. You can almost see it in his eyes, he looks bored.

Incase anyone is interested.. don't know if this is true but if so appeas that Hennesy has had awful luck with his first ITV date one starts to wonder if the face of a certain rival promoter is somewhere in the background trying to ruin Mick's big day!! am I a bit of a conspirecy theorist!
I can play dot-to-dot and believe some sort of Warren-Universum-WBO tomfoolery. But I can't really find the link with Rubin Williams, at all.
You really do have a vivid imagination and your comment is seriously libellous.
read the phrasing. sentence contains the words "I", "can" and "believe" prior to the offending words. That is not an accusation. That is a statement, simply, that I would not be shocked if it was true. Comprehension.

Spinks Is ok to watch, I thought he was robbed vs Taylor too.

I don't disagree the titles have devalued traditional ones. You should buy me a WBC one as Brown and gold which Is the WBO doesn't match my pants.

I'd like to know if this one from Warren is libellous.

The column where he says about how hard they chased to get Roy Jones. And that - to make Joe look better than Jones - he brought up the one failed steroid test vs Richard Hall. Then says about how RJJ fought a lot in Florida, where the testing may have been lax. You get the point - if we'd fought him, he may - will likely - have had the unfair advantage. I wonder if Jones' lawyers got on to this and if not, why not?

PS is the nasty little virus I found on my PC today owt to do with this thread?

Anyway, in hindsight, I probably should have been a bit more restrained on this topic as it's highly unlikely that Warren would or could get a fighter from another stable to do a pullout JUST to upset a British rival promoter. Hennessy's May 10 show suffered extreme bad luck from a variety of ppl, Inkin/Universum twice, Fewkes, Lora, Berrio, Williams, none of whom appear to have anything to do with Frank W.
