2008 Golden Gloves Results
4 - 2 min rounds for semis and finals is correct and it was 3 - 2 min rounds for all the preliminary rounds.Canada wrote:I belive 4 round for the Semis and Finals, and 3 rounds for the quarters and prelimszhdamistro wrote:Are they doing 3 three minute rounds here or the normal 4 two minute rounds.
Yes, I saw some of it. Koon was taking it to Graziano. He is strong and hits hard and wasn't afraid to mix it up with Graziano. Some people thought Graziano won, but they admitted it was close. I didn't see all of it so I can't say who I think won, but from the action I saw Koon was winning albeit by a slim margin.skinnyman wrote:Paul Koon over Graziano! Did anybody see that bout?

Just to confirm the statement that scoring a bout depends on where you are sitting. From where I was sitting ringside during the bouts on Saturday, I thought Paul Koon had won. I just watched the bout on Mlive.com and from the TV camera's viewpoint from the balcony and the southside of the ring, I thought Craig Lewis won. Watching the bout live, I was on the eastside of the ring in the first row. So it really does depend on where you are sitting.
