Witter
Tonight was his big chance to impress the public not only in the UK on terrestrial tv but in america, and whats he gone and done? blew it, again!
Complacency cant be in the equation, he was fighting an unbeaten american, and Witter knew he had to impress.
Anyone still think he'd beat Hatton? I dont think he'd last the distance!!!

fornicating twat
My head went down after the 6th round. So poor was he. On ITV as well. You can 'suck' on Setanta but look good on terrestial please
Retirement beckons I think
Who the fornicate is gonna fight him? Is it back to the Bami's of this world? (No offence intended)
Classic looking past an opponent situation here
Couldnt you just see Hatton fighting Bradley just to rub it in

He did not loook past Bradley.
No way.
Cannot believe Junior blew his big chance, just didn't look right in there tonight.Full credit to Bradley, he managed to get his tactics right and won by a couple of rounds on my card.Junior just never seemed to get his jab going and was just that step slower than Bradley.
Do you think Junior will ask for rematch?

I'm sure that we'll get a message from Team Hatton talking about a WBC unification whether it's true or not just to twist the knife.
Actually i think that would make for a good fight for Hatton against a straight ahead short brawler without KO power.
Gotta feel sorry for Witter but it was all there for the taking and ITV1 primetime big fight and i think he had finally got the tone right when talking about Hatton - not coming off arrogant just saying that it's want he wants and what the country wants. That's all for nothing now.

Well Bradley offers him the olive branch of a rematch. But then we all know its the promoters taht will decide that. I think Bradley should start fghting people who can make him look better rather than another akward tussle with
And if its not too much to ask perhaps MH can get the 34 year old witter a fight or two this year. Having fought last in septemer is it a wonder his timing looked off

Wonder if Hatton would have the balls to fight Witter now, or if no point in it wonder if he wished he did because no matter what excuses he has used one thing I found it hard to understand is if you got a chance to fight for a WBC title, no matter who it is you would grab the chance with both hands wouldn't you? On Witters performance tonight I bet he wished he had, I know a lot is said that Hatton dosn't need Witter etc but surely if he was confident of beating him and for the WBC he would have fought him wouldn't he? Just feel the public have been cheated out of a decent 'battle of britain' like in the Benn/Eubank days...Although I know prob not on the same interest level to some but it would have been good for british boxing a year or to ago

I think Hatton will still want to avoid Witter.Des1 wrote:Wonder if Hatton would have the balls to fight Witter now, or if no point in it wonder if he wished he did because no matter what excuses he has used one thing I found it hard to understand is if you got a chance to fight for a WBC title, no matter who it is you would grab the chance with both hands wouldn't you?
