Witter v Hatton - Does it still need to happen?
Witter v Hatton - Does it still need to happen?
Though it is even less likely to occur now is this a fight you still need to see?

The fight was never going to happen.Ant Evans wrote:Give it up, DG. The jig is over. Hold your hands up and admit the ladyboy lookalike can't box and lucked onto a plastic title.DG. wrote:Whre is the option
Hatton was just waiting for Witter to lose so he could have another excuse.
Haton made sure of that.
Excuse after excuse!

I do see Rhino's point, though. How many times has boxer A and B met, B lost, then fought C (who's better than A) and beaten them.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:I'd say D-rate. Bradley is a B-rate version of Hatton, have you been drinking this morning Rhino?!
Next week, fractions
Witter is a poor man's Mayweather (okay a brassic version), but I do think he'd perform better against Hatton as he'd be more up for it.

Rhino does have a point and Witter would be different for Hatton. Hatton is also coming off a loss too remember (Although he may be in deniel himself). The fact is Witter did look shite the other night but Bradley done well. If Witter can take a shot like he did in the sixth and get up then Hatton may not have the one punch power to finish him either. Hatton won't be able to constantly attack Witter and may get frustrated out of the fight. Witter can handle a come forward one-dimensioned brawler like Hatton better than Hatton can handle slick boxers with a dig as we know.
THta could be the key for the fight.
Rhino might be slightly brave with his prediction but I doo see his point.
It won't happen now though as Hatton has prayed for and been granted his excuse by Witter getting beat.
Fact is Hatton will forever be remembered for avoiding him when he was WBC Champion so that won't change as far as his so-called legacy is concerned.

Bradley isnt like Hatton, since when did Hatton sit back and counter, slip shots, patiently figure out his opponent? And even jab and throw straight punchesCaptain Hook wrote:How, on watching Saturday's performance, can you say that?

Bradley would usually throw more shots but when your fighting a counter puncher you can not

Will you kindly just scroll past my posts pal because you just don't get it. You're entitled to an opinion but it's horse shit.Phenomenal-Nutrition wrote:Bradley isnt like Hatton, since when did Hatton sit back and counter, slip shots, patiently figure out his opponent? On watching that fight again do you think Timothy Bradley "patiently figured out" Junior Witter?!
What, by running in with his head and throwing looping hooks for 12 rounds?
Bradley is limited, very limited. You think he's better than Hatton?
I'm amazed that on a British Boxing forum arguably our best fighter in the last 10 years (along with JC) gets such stick. And what's with the editor sticking his nose in and slating Hatton fans?
Stick to the Yank side of things, Blue...
