Quarry would likely be a cruiserweight champ today.

I'm not quite as sure about Quarry being a cruiserweight champ. He could be, but sorta depends on how he was matched. Cruisers aren't too bad right now. Cooney would fare pretty well right now, but I think Klitschko would find him with "the missle." Teofilo Stevenson with a fair chance to go pro would've been a threat in any era.

SHIIIIIIT, Cooney fought harder in defeat, and he only lost to hall of famers, and had the hardest hitting left hook of the 1980's, hell even Foreman said that Cooney was the hardest hitting man he ever fought, and Cooney by that time been inactive for years. Klitschko wouldn't come close to being champ today, if Cooney had been of this generation.

Quarry, without question, would have been either a champion or a top five contender in ANY era at Heavyweight.

From the old-timers, I suspect that Sam Langford, Kid McCoy and Joe Choynski would have been hard to beat at light-heavyweight today or in any later era.

Quarry maybe a cruiserweight champ?? Quarry would definitely be THE HW champion today. He would soundly outbox the likes of Peter, Chagaev, Thompson, Brock etc.

Klitschko would be a tough matchup style wise for the early going but Quarry's durability and pace would wear Klit down on route to a late stoppage loss. If Klit thought the mediorce Brock was tricky to figure out my God Jerry would have him in stitches.

Cooney is an awful style matchup for Wlad and I'd favor Cooney by early knockout.
