MONTIEL - MALDONADO MAY 31 NOT FOR TITLE?
I've seen the match has been rescheduled for May 31, but there's no mention that it will be for Montiel's WBO title. Will it or not? It would be weird if not, because when it was scheduled first, it was for the title...
On May 3rd, it would have been for Montiel's title... So, are you sure it has been rescheduled for only 4 weeks after? The WBO page doesn't mention that fight under "future bouts". But if it happens, don't you think it will be for Montiel's title? Everything else would not be logical... So, please, does anybody know more to this? Blue, Emile? Or anybody else? It would be hard for me to believe this would now be a non-title match...
I'm sure it is, but sometimes data gets lost when the fights get moved around. Generally, I don't want to tab a title on it until I see it somewhere for sure, and not assume. You shouldn't take it to mean that there is no title, just that it is not completed yet. As the fight gets closer, it will get fixed and undercard and venue added, and all of that. Or, if you have a link, go ahead and place it here, and I'll add it.
