Guys -- I haven't compiled all of my notes but here is what I have on Frazier. Nearest I can tell is that he had 37 amateur bouts. Here is what I have so far.

looks good -- but I dont think the second Mathis bout was an exhibition. There were several post-olympic trial bouts for all fighters -- the Oakland Tribune gives the results and Frazier was outpointed.
Several other reports mention Frazier losing two bouts to mathis.
Also, although the Doyle bout was reported i havent been able to come up with a newspaper date. But if it happened it was in the preliminary rounds before the QF, not the championship bout. Doyle lost to Vic Brown in the finals.
When Frazier met Doyle as a pro, the issue came up and Frazier said he didn't recall ever meeting Doyle prior.
