Roy Jones lives with a lot of flair (anyone seen his 'crib' on mtv?, it rocks!)
Carlos Monzon dated actresses and Models. By all accounts Mayweather is Flash outside the ring.
Inside Judah, Naz, Roy Jones, Mosley and Witter all have very flashy stlyes.
Please remember being flashy is not the same as being good! And also almost all the fighters in most fans all time p4p lists were more than capable of being flash if they wanted.

sugar ray robinson had more than a dash of flash for his time, when athletes were more conservative. he took a pink tie he liked to a cadillac dealer and had a car made to match its color. he traveled with a huge retinue, including his own barber and occasionally a dwarf (don't ask me why)...both in the states and when he toured europe. plus, he had an innate charisma which made him one of the most colorful personalities of his time, especially in harlem, where he always drew a crowd just by being there.

as for in the ring...no grand entrances...but again..the charisma plus his fighting style were all the flash he needed.

Probably by way of overcompensation for deficiences in his other "pendant." Probably drives a chrome-plated Hummer 2, too.

HE ACTUALLY USED TO TAP DANCE QUITE OFTEN WHEN OUT PARTYING APPARENTLY.

Imagine that one, being at a club where Sugar ray was and seeing the world champ dance to crowd, awesome, with that footwork I 'll bet he was shit hot. bearing in mind in those days tap dancing was kool as.

Who is the most (FLASHY) boxer of all time!!

Post by Palais »

Tommy "Hurricane" Jackson used to tap dance. He even studied the fighting style of kangaroo's at the zoo, and used his observations in the ring. Unfortunatly for him, he must have ignored the peek-a-boo.
Wasn't C Marcellus C pretty flashy in with Cleve Big Cat Williams? Does his "Shuffle" qualify here?
Did anyone ever watch Jitterbug Smith, a lightweight fromm New Orleans?
I guess not.

when sugar ray retired after the maxim fight, he actually tried a career as a professional tap dancer and made his debut in a new york night club but it didn't make it with the reviewers...dorothy kilgallen, for one...who said he had lots of charm but not enough professional skill to make it in that field. plus, she said his brief speech during his act asking the audience to support the united nations was somewhat out of place.

then, of course he started his second career as a middleweight champion...ex champion..champion...ex champion..etc.

How about Chris Eubank
flash in and out of the ring
ie, jumping over top rope to enter the ring, entering the arena riding a harley etc.
and out of the ring, the cars, trucks he drove, and the way he dressed.
pretty flash git
