Oh right - so Bergman and Harris are "fights".

But Magee, Maussa (who beat Harris), Castillo (who beat Njougdgio), Collazo, Tackie, etc were not.

Lets sing it - Amy Winehouse style.

Did Harris beat da count against Maussa - me say NO, NO, NO.

The difference is.

Witter was not the favourite against Bergman or Harris.

Hatton has ALWAYS been the favourite apart from 2 fights and he is 1-1.

In fights where they were the underdogs, Witter is 2-1 and Hatton 1-1.

Sing it Boxrec, Amy Winehouse but inna Moderator style!

De mod he try to catch out DG, did e do it? say, No No No!

I see your still ploughing the same muddy furrow...Witters gone...it`s over ,let go... Witter has already been sussed from a come forward type fighter. All those "Witter fights like Floyd" quotes may be laid to rest, Juniors power is overated, his jab is powderpuff and he`s as entertaining as catching your foreskin in your zip(jeans)...I for one am glad that Witter lost. 0-2 in "fights" i believe.
Bradley used head movement which Ricky doesn't have so I could still see Witter landing lots of counter hooks on his head due to Hatton's lack of head movement.

Just because Witter had his arse handed to him there is no need to have a go at Hatton.

He lost to his Mandatory.

WBC Number 1/2 depending how you look at it.

Unbeaten

24 year old Former Amateur star.

Much tougher than beating Urango ( can not box) and Maussa who got lucky after being beaten to shit by Harris who gassed.

I hope that answers your question.

Answers one of them....

Mayweather beat Hatton. No questions needed there. Mayweather as a loss looks much better on your CV than 'Sandy fart' Bradley....

Thats the pint, Hatton had his rsaady made excuse.

Mayweather as a win would be MUCH better but Hatton was never going to win, he went to get paid.

Being a Champion is about fighting your mandatories and fighting all tough challenges.

NOT ABOUT FIGHTING WIN/WIN FIGHTS.

Example?

Hatton fighting PBF was all about Hatton being able to say I lost to the p4p king at a weight above ( which is nonsense as Hatton always was bigger than PBF - he outweighed him on the night by at least 5lb) and gettng paid.

If he won. WOW!

Hatton ducks mandatories all the time and MOST fighters fight them.

Hatton is a no risk fighter. Fact.

In which case, what would you define as a legit title holder? Are you arguing that Witter was? Witter won a vacant belt against Corley, who was 3-3 going into the fight, and since gone on to lose three straight. Witter then defended against Morua - please tell me at what point he entered your 140 ratings. Morua had also previously lost to Ben Rabah, who lost to Urango, who wasn't a legit title holder.

Now I'd argue that those two fights does not make Witter a "legit" title holder. But if the subsequent win over Harris is what legitimises his title reign, then how can Maussa's capture of the WBA title be any less legit?

Personally I don't see how Witter's title could be any more "legit" than those you mention. If your saying Witter's title wasn't necessarily legit either, then fair enough, but I'd like to know at what point a title holder becomes "legit."

Witter proved himself by beating guys who went ON to win a Wold Titles.

Kotelnik was unlucky not to beat Mbaye - it was a draw.
N-dou became World Champ.
Harris was a good World Champion apart from the Freak Loss!
Moura beat Maussa but that was a gimme fight for Witter, imo.
Corley had been performing well up to the Witter fight.

You failed to mention why Corley was 3-3 and how he fought.

PBF - closest I have seen PBF to being stopped.
Cotto - Corley rocked him badly and stopped way too soon
SD against Judah.

Witters opponents post form shows Witter to be a legit fighter.

Have a look at the record of Hattons 'victims' from his 1st fight to the fight before PBF - they have done f all, because they were never up to much or past it.

Witter lost, but his path to the top shows him to be a very capable fighter, unbeaten for 8 years against decent fighters and future World Champs shows it.

FACT.
