I THINK HE IS . he is developing nicely its just a shame he didnt turn pro 5 years earlier, if you watch him in last few fights he is really improving on the power and technique when throwing his heavier shots, really putting some venom into it, his hand speed is excellent and I think he will one day hold a decent version of the heavywieght title.
hows that.

Audley wouldn't have come close to winning the Olympics (and in any case, some of us prefer to look at the guys he actually beat rather than the trophy he was awarded) if that terrible ref hadn't jumped in to "save" Alexei Lezin in the final round. Harrison was way behind and on his way out of the competition before he landed that "fight ending punch".
ok chill!J wrote:$eif wrote:SHAT IT GOZ!! No one wants to see your SHIT opinion!!

For sure if Aud had been given the chance he would have fought Julius Francis in late January and then probably the winner of Sprott Williams afterwards he said he had a verbal agreement with the 2 and then they go and sign for allegedly. Also neither of the 2 have denied the verbal agreement when asked about it. Hersisia is a step up from Brian Nix and thats all I ask.
will audley win a world title?? he probably will, for one simple fact. now lummox has gone its a fractuous division. its debatable whether the kiltchoks will dominate or whether any of the other names often touted will be able to clean up the way lewis did. dunno if id say guys like byrd, mesi et al are capable of doing it. so we'll probably have a scenario similar to that of the early-mid eighties with titles changing hands with monotonous frequency till someone comes along to dominate like young mikey did. so theres no rerason why audley, who isnt the least talented in the mix just now wont claim something. he does have the skill, aprticularly bodyshots and he is a southpaw which causes natural problems for orthodox fighters. still have big doubts about his stamina though. he needs a real work out
the wbu title is useful as a bargaining chip only. maybe it dont get him to the top table with the big boys when it comes to the real mix but maybe it would get him into the room. more realistically it might get him into the frame for a commonwealth mix up. and if hes really lucky maybe a wbu intercontinental super duper this means nothing championship.

Im trying to think who Audleys next opponent will be. Aud is obviously looking at the European scene so he will be fighting opponents in the EBU rankings. Check them out on http://www.boxebu.com and go to the EBU ratings and tell me who you think as a next opponent after Hersisia.
But Goz Started it! i respect any one`s Opinion!J wrote:Seif, mate no one has a problem with you posting here, in fact as a young enthususiastic boxer and fan its good to see but you must learn to post with more respect and balanced argument, such and such is shit blah blah isnt gonna get people talking to you .$eif wrote:SHAT IT GOZ!! I seriously believe that FrAudley's best chance of winning one of the main belts is now as the devision is so weak.I can definately see him beating the likes of Ruiz,Byrd,Wlad,Holy,Johnson,Mesi etc as all of these men have flaws or past their sell-by dates.Howevever,I am sure as history will dictate a (prime)Tysonesque monster will emerge from somewhere and devour all & then it'll be too late for frAudley!jameswilson wrote:I just wanna know why you dont think Audley is any good.
The problem is that frAudley is not stepping up to the plate & taking on true defining fights. He's fighting hand picked pub landlords and garden landscapers etc.I mean who rates this WTF (sorry WBF) belt hes going for?
The reality is that there is no one out there since our man LL spanked all the Yanks and frAudley is not the man

Audley Harrison Is Ducking And Diving
How can anybody say Audley Harrison is improving as a boxer. He aint fought nobody yet, he looks good against club fighters and journey men thats all. Put him in the ring with a decent fighter and lets see how good he is.
